My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Brandon, I'm from Austin Texas, I'm a member of the LDS Church, and I'm an entrepreneur. I own a software development company that makes apps and web services for niche market segments, it's pretty sweet.

I love reading and learning new things, trying out new hobbies, and developing new talents. Other than that, I'm a pretty average guy I guess. I enjoy books, video games, TV, anime, movies, and casual outdoor adventures that don't require me to climb a mountain.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I spend most of my time growing and managing my company, and when I'm not doing that I'm usually just hanging out with friends or something. I'm also a part-time student at BYU, and am gradually working my way through the business management program there.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Problem solving, getting things done, marathoning TV shows, and playing Bejeweled.

I also make a mean sloppy joe.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd like to believe that one of the first things people notice about me (aside from my stunningly good looks and stylish haircut) is that I'm witty.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite book series for sure is James Bond. The man fought off a pack of tarantulas in total darkness, and then crushed the man who put him in said tarantula darkness-pit with eight tons of bird poop. How can you NOT like him? Some of my other favorite authors are Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn, Lee Child, and Robert Ludlum. I also really like the Star Wars books as well.

On the non-fiction side of things, I really like Three Feet From Gold, Think and Grow Rich, The E-Myth Revisited, and I'm also a huge Tony Robbins fan (the man is a master of his craft).

When it comes to music, I'm willing to listen to most things, but some bands that I particularly enjoy are The Rx Bandits, Minus the Bear, Enter Shikari, and All the Day Holiday. Honestly though, I'm mostly into J-Pop these days, and spend a lot of my time listening to that. I do also have a short list of bands that I do not like, and Mumford and the Frantic Banjos is at the top of it.

I love movies, and love seeing new stuff in the theater. My favorite movies are Kung-Fu movies, especially Jackie Chan movies made in Hong Kong. Action movies and comedy movies in general too are also pretty sweet, and I also enjoy a good horror movie every now and then.

As far as TV goes, I really like Person of Interest, Archer, Seinfeld, King of the Hill, and The Simpsons.

I'm also pretty darn into anime, but you can message me if you want to talk to me about that :3
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever projects I'm working on at the moment, and ideas for things to do in the future.

I'm also moving into a new apartment soon, so I spend a lot of my idle time daydreaming about furniture arrangements. My new place is going to have some mad chi flow, I tell you what.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Tinkering with something fun, watching a movie, or chilling with some friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I really like doing the dishes, so much so that I've forbidden my roommates from touching them. I find it soothing, and it gives me a chance to do something productive while I listen to a book.

If you've made it this far and you haven't decided that I'm a total weirdo that you want nothing to do with, then message me. OKCupid is a super awkward medium to strike up a conversation, but I'm willing to try if you are.
