To be honest its easiest to describe myself by my job. I suppose most Americans need to start like this anyway. I work for a health care medical devices company out of San Diego but live in KC as a field technician so I'm often on the road on avg 4 days a week. This means I get to travel lots for work, but erm, have to work most the time I travel. This does however, get me out of my comfort zone which I've found has done me no good in my 25 yrs alive.

I graduated from the Univ. of Iowa in Economics and Political Science w/ minor in chinese. (this feels like a job interview)

I've got an extreme passion for cultures other than our own - although I certainly always love coming home to the U.S. I've lived in China for 5 months and absolutely loved it. In fact, if i didn't have student debt I'd be there now teaching english making peanuts but enjoying ever second of it.

Here in the US i occupy my time with ice hockey at Pepsi Ice Midwest in Overland Park, mountain biking in the KC area and Colorado whenst I can get out there, snowboarding and bocce ball fill in the rest. As for night life ... live music , especially rock, blues, jazz, and some Raasta-far-i (likely mispelled) gets me going. Camping / Canoeing

Being on planes often affords me lots of time to read. some books: The World is Flat, Fabric of the Cosmos, The Republic and Great Dialogues of Plato, Secret Life of Plants, Getting Stoned with the Savages, The Age of Turbulence by
Greenspan, The Secret, The Secret History of the World, Freakonomics, and anything generally challenging in the realm of Economics, Politics, and as of late I've been interested in Philosophy and practical applications of Quantum Physics.

I'm extremely open minded, in fact i don't think i've ever held anything to be absolutely true except that we are likely some protrusion of a higher cosmic power that is planting us all here and that its up to ourselves to enjoy.

As of now, working and planning my next move. trying to soak it all in.

well most things i put my heart into ... its just hard to choose where to direct my efforts

erm, the smile and squinty eyes. A few chinese people have actually asked me if I'm Chinese! likely because I can converse a bit in mandarin ,,, but seriously I'm not Asian ;D
