I'm a Pennsylvania transplant who after living in the city for six
years is amazed at how sheltered my life had been before moving
here. The city has a way of forcing you to broaden your horizons,
in the best way possible. That being said, I'm close to my family
and often go home for some much needed space, a home-cooked meal,
and hopefully a round of golf.
Maybe not the best way to pitch myself, but I should warn you up front that.....I don't have a special talent, and I don't play an instrument, I don't watch many classic movies, and I don't exclusively read Hemingway, Kerouac, Joyce, etc... Maybe someday I'll get to them...... But I am a very honest, pretty humorous (you can reserve judgement), intelligent, and understanding person. I also have irrational confidence in the strength of my taste in movies, TV, and music. I can be sarcastic, but I'm not trying to be mean. I'm pretty laid back, but not afraid to speak my mind if I feel the need. We'll get along if you don't take yourself too seriously.
I'm a big sports fan.........but amazingly I don't need to talk to you about them or even care if you're interested in them. You just need to let me watch them on TV every once in a while. Especially during football season.
While I'd like to say my Sundays always consist of being adventurous, if I've been out late and the DVR is full..... it may be difficult to get out of the apartment for anything other than a bagel and coffee.
Soccer when I can.......gym a couple times a week..........whiskey on the rocks just as often.
An outdoor dinner with friends on a nice night is my happy place.
