Where to start?... I grew up in rural upstate NY surrounded by farms and amish... exciting, I know... Despite this setting I have a great interest in classical music (especially 19th and 20th century Russian) and have already graduated from my undergraduate with a Bachelor of Music in Performance. I have played the oboe for over 10 years now and perform whenever I am able to. Besides my musical lifestyle I also enjoy fashion, animals, foreign cultures, cooking, and traveling when possible. I am multifaceted, juggling music, learning russian, and the fact that I raise & show Mini Rex & Havana rabbits. The farm country side to me revealed, I was in 4-H when I was younger and also had shown western pleasure with my mom at horse shows. I hold my Bachelor of Music in Oboe & Flute Performance with a minor in music history from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY. I am currently taking a break between degrees and working at a fine dining establishment in Sharon Springs, NY. I plan to return to grad school in the near future! Still deciding if I want to pursue performance further or change my focus within the music field.

I'm modest.. but I would say that I am a good oboist and a decent flutist. I have been told I excel at music history, still much to learn but what I like I study immensely! randomly I have a knack for navigation when it comes to getting around cities and travel in general. Not sure where I got it from but it comes naturally. Needless to say I rarely get lost :-P

I think that people usually notice that I am very easy to talk to.

Don't read too much unless it is research related... though I did thoroughly enjoy a few biographies of Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.
Oh and Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs, & Classical Music was a good read!
