moved up north of sydney to a country town to get my shit together before starting med school next year
if all things go to plan i'll be a poor uni student for the next 5 years, and if things go awry i'll go live overseas for a bit!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

- here is where any cool i have amassed dissolves as, out of pure laziness, i rarely read anymore. yet i am always up to date with my google reader so this must count for something?

- movies, again, is not a strong point for me. i have never seen star wars (much to my friends' chagrin). but top films i have enjoyed are probably high on most people's film lists, such as amelie, the breakfast club, ferris bueller, be kind rewind, dancer in the dark and almost famous.
i tend to watch more tv than anything else, currently i am i love with a few american comedies such as 30 rock, the office, weeds, arrested development and tim & eric awesome show. i would have previously shunned anything american in favour of british comedy but there are gems out there sans laugh track.

- music has a bit more love from me, i was most definitely the stereotypical teen obsessive in high school and i was completely enamoured of anything british and indie (except oasis) but thankfully i've branched out somewhat. at the moment, favourites are sufjan stevens, laura marling, the weepies, the hush sound, rilo kiley, justice, iron & wine, plus a stack of australian stuff.

- food tends to be most things with a large sugar and butter content. everything i eat is moist by it's natural state or the addition of cream, sour cream, mayo or similar.

i have a love of planning and am often getting way ahead of myself when it comes to hypothesising about the future.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

prior to moving, if i wasn't working, i'd probably be at a friend's house watching tv and drinking tea.
now i just do this at my own house.
