My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been on OKC since 2004-ish so I had a pile of completely old stuff here in my profile. Will see about putting newer stuff back in, but you really can find out quite a lot (some of it outdated) by reading the couple thousand questions I answered.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working for Amazon, playing RPGs, finding women to date, and generally enjoying life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Most intellectual pursuits. I usually find that a good conversation starter is: I started college at 14 so yes I'm the real-life version of Doogie Howser.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I read a lot as part of work so I like completely mindless escapist fantasy. Extra points if you connect my user name to one of my favorite series.

Movies: My favorite movies are In Time, Iron Man, and LOTR.

TV: Big Bang Theory, The Daily Show, Burn Notice. I also really like the history, discovery, and learning channels WHEN their programming isn't populist reality crap. The various Star Treks and Xena were also favorites when they were on.

Music: P!nk, Pop and Classical, although I'm not nearly the music junkie that many people are.

Food: Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family (which includes friends and pets)
Internet access
Variety: it is truly the spice of life
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where the world is going; it seems to be speeding wildly out of control down a dangerous path.

How close the movie Idiocracy speaks to the truth of where humanity is going.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing GURPS in the group I recently started.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Story characters who sacrifice themselves for the greater good make me emotional.

I write in Jon Stewart for every position that has a Republican't running unopposed.

I prefer IM to e-mail at OKC because it provides more interactive cues. Why don't more people turn on their IM?

I know or have known every one of the people whose personality traits make up the characters of The Big Bang Theory.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are an irrepressible optimist, preferably an ESFP on the Myers Briggs test (MBTI).

Your profile is fully filled out including at least 50 public questions answered.

You are confident enough to meet somewhere public before I die of boredom exchanging e-mail.

You are confident enough to just say hi. I'm not a big fan of wilting violets or the passive female stereotype.
