Ok. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I don't go to bars. I am LDS, and pretty serious about it. You won't change me, and I won't change you . . . so respect is what I ask.

I am an intelligent and adventureous man, divorced father of 2. I enjoy a healthy mix of: quiet nights at home, getting cleaned up to enjoy an elegant meal out, some nasty gut rot food at a major sporting event, or maybe an evening out enjoying some cultural diversity. I try to be a culturally well rounded person and instill the same in my children. I am very protective of my children, and will not involve them until it is appropriate. I have them 1/2 the time, so I am very involved in their lives. Which means I still deal (for lack of a better term) with their mother, so sometimes it gets a little confusing as far as the schedule.

Looking for new friends, sometimes reconnecting with old ones, and trying to laugh every day (kids make that a whole lot easier!). Loving and teaching my children that when life knocks you down, you get back up, every time. Trying to be the type of friend I would like to have.

I'm good and being a father for my kids. I'm a great cook, an intense listener, and a pretty good shoulder to cry on. I'm a great friend.

My eyes, (which are hopefully not totally bloodshot from a lack of sleep!) I guess. Or my girlish figure . . . or is it my sense of humor?!?!?

books - sci-fi, history, philosophical (recently I have read the Three Musketeers saga, and started a few of the literary classics)
movies - comedy, action, adventure, romance, sci-fi (some favorites include - Gross Point Blank, Better Off Dead, Shaun of the Dead, The Hangover, Alladin, Finding Nemo, Avatar, Tombstone, most pixar, a lot of Disney - hey I have 2 small kids - or at least thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)
music - classical, rock, classic rock, country
food - Nothing beats a good steak, but every day getting some variety is important - Mexican (no guac nor sour cream - besides how do you know when the sour cream has gone bad, is it sweet again? LOL!) Italian (I love pasta and cream sauces, but I hate noodles with tomato sauce - trama as a kid) Chinese (Fried Rice, Prawns, Egg Rolls, not good for you, but taste so good!) American-ized Foods (a nice double bacon cheese burger, brats, pizza - no veggies please, good french fries, milkshakes, ice cream with enough calories to equal a weeks intake in two bites)
(Everything is better with BACON and / or CHEESE!!!) I eat lots of other stuff too (although not many fruits, unless you count orange juice and applesauce) like cottage cheese with Ruffles (cuz they have rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrridges!) and Tuna (salad) on Ritz crackers.
What can I say, I am my father's son!!!! (I never really understood that, because who else's son would I be?!?!? LOL!)

My son and daughter, and we will stick to the shallow temporal things here - car, computer, cell phone, and internet. I don't live "close" to family, so I keep in touch via technology. If you want a more philosophical answer - faith, hope, charity, love, mercy, and friends.

Why do they put 10 hotdogs in a pack, but only 8 buns? Why you shouldn't moon a werewolf?!?!?!

This changed recently. I had my kids every Friday for about the last five years. Now I get every other one off. So if I have the kids we play games, or watch a movie, but generally just hang out to spend quality time. If not . . . I'm open to suggestions.
