I am motivated by curiosity, by wonder, by meeting new people & situations. I enjoy a quiet lifestyle. I have lived alone (the last family cat moved out over a year ago) for what seems to be ages. I'm self-employed selling collectibles on eBay & enjoy all aspects of that. Over the years I have done lots of volunteer work. I have a lot of friends & a close little family in Denver of a grown son & daughter, a still vibrant mom in her 90's & a sister & her family. I'd love to meet that special man to share outings, intimacy & a special future with. I consider myself to be an old soul, with old-fashioned values. I enjoy simplicity, honesty, communication & sharing. I am a student of spirituality, metaphysics & new age concepts. One of my secret wishes is to be around horses. Another one is to eventually live by the ocean.

I enjoy well-written novels & films about people & relationships & generally dislike heavy drama, violence, murder mysteries, documentaries & biographies -- no soaps or romance novels -- an occasional comedy or animated film. I enjoy foreign, subtitled movies. I don't watch television or read a daily newspaper. I enjoy a variety of music genre & listen to Pandora & Last Fm stations I've created. I prefer simple, savory foods -- leaning towards vegetarian & no sugar. My favorite ethnic food is Japanese. I secretly love cooking & baking for a crowd on an old cook stove! :*)
