My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Who am I? Hard to describe in words!
Quite normal...most of the time. Logical...some of the time. Real...all of the time.
Originally from the U.K.
I am more the city girl than the country lass. In my past I have set-up a campsite and fire, yet these days prefer crisp, clean sheets and a hot shower over sleeping bags and latrines. It is nice to visit the countryside for autumn foliage, wine tasting and antiquing, yet prefer the luxuries of city culture.

I'm looking for someone who is kind and sincere (and real) with character, a sense of humour, passion, and who still likes to get up and dance.

I would prefer to meet someone in the Toronto area.

I believe that timing in life is huge.
Open minded. Non judgmental.

A recent photo would be nice, your profile filled out in some detail, and your emails somewhat engaging.

I do have a sense of humour...on occasion! No...love to laugh a lot!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Transitioning from one purpose to another.
Sorting socks.
Travelling.
Trying to understand many things....learning....about relationships and....many things.
Thinking a lot about a lot.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Laughing, listening, and living.
Cooking, driving and dancing.
Being intuitive...
Hoola-hooping.....
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Gotta ask....will get back to this!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The books I have enjoyed are: Gerald Durrell, James Herriot, George Orwell (most of his) (not just 1984....he wrote a lot about a lot), The Help and The Hobbit. The Concise Oxford (English) Dictionary. 'All the Way' Jordin Tootoo.

Movies: 'The Green Mile', Shawshank Redemption, and 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World'...1963 movie...I like Tom Hanks, Robin Williams and Johnny Depp movies. The Secret. Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, Amélie, Chocolat. I love most documentaries. Love Ballet.
TV: Perception, Mistresses (very funny), W5, the Food channel, PBS, History channel

Music: Love Motown, jazz, rhythm & blues, Nat King Cole, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtZKwp6cjd4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USsb_ig4ZmQ
The Carpenters, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEsmEZBGGJo
Carole King, Neil Sedaka, Bread, Barry White, Glenn Miller, Billie Holiday, Atlantic Rhythm & Blues...classical and lots more.

Food: I have a flair with cooking; love to serve and be served.
I like to buy local produce, meat and eggs whenever possible...organic or free-range, and free-range means animals not cooped up. Not just chickens!
Have you ever been to Fresh From the Farm on Donlands Avenue? Amazing food.
I enjoy Asian, with or without chopsticks, and Indian foods with vegetables, meat, seafood, curries and spices. South American food is scrumptious...real homemade of all of the above is the best though. I make a really good Lobster Bisque...or so I am told...

A lovely quote:
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you should begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Just discovered this great quote by Reba Mcintire, in another members profile:
"To succeed in life you need three things. A wishbone, a backbone, and a funny bone."
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
*My 5 children...they are amazing, Family, Friends
*Romance & hugs
*Health
*Intelligent conversation...whatever that may be?
*Hockey, Music and Dancing
*Travel & PASSPORTS
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
*Do we really have to go through millions of profiles to fine 'THE ONE'?
ha*
*Why are there a lot of people who don't have a passport?
*Writing a blog on manners*
*Do people really want to meet?*
*Why is there so much ignorance in the western world when there are so many mediums to obtain information...albeit...incorrect information that people WANT to believe...and people ought to read between the lines...if they had any common sense...???*
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no such thing as a 'typical' Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
*I am a reserved extrovert! Otherwise possibly an Ambivert. LOL
*I like fast cars...a lot!
*I dislike gossip.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
*You have been patient enough to read my profile...you deserve a medal...!
*You will email me, then talk on the phone before we meet. I will respond if you message me, your message has some substance to it and you have a great (to me) sense of humour. After all, laughter is the best medicine!
*I am not into endlessly messaging. Meeting for a coffee/tea is a start.
