I'm still a bit freaked out by the whole idea of internet dating.
It's all a bit too formal for me and we aren't bits of meat to be marketed and traded like second hand goods on the wanted pages of the local rag.

There is far more to relationships then a few nice photos and a witty quip.
I am happy with my lot and I'm not desperate for a relationship. I am however starting to get bored of the single life and would like to find someone who I can share the simple things with, someone I can look out for, support and eventually love.
Music wise I'm in to everything from Hendrix, Pink Floyd, STP, RHCP, AIC, Portishead, Massive Attack, Smashing Pumpkins, Future sound of London, Boards of Canada, 4hero, Little dragon, bonobo, Radiohead, and so on through to classical, house, dnb and dubstep, etc, and try my hand at a bit of amateur vinyl mixing and production when I get the time. Basically I just love music and it's a big part of my life but I don't let it define who I am and I don't judge others by their tastes, be it pop chart stuff, rock, dance or whatever. It would be nice to find someone who has music tastes though as rightly or wrongly I've always found it to be a good measure of character. Actually it freaks me out a bit when I meet people who don't 'get' music.
I place learning and knowledge above materialism and am constantly trying to better myself through it and I look for similar qualities in friends and partners. I'm definitely not after a vacuous and shallow dolly. I'm not saying you need to be super intelligent (or pretending to be so myself) but common sense doesn't seem to be that common after all, so couple that with a thirst for life and we're on the right path.
