I'm a really nice, genuine guy with imperfections. I care about people and work hard. I'm intelligent and try to make good decisions, which isn't always easy. I don't live in the past anymore, and I think the future keeps looking more and more exciting!

Apparently, I've gone from nearly passing out from stage fright to being a pretty good (student) actor... WHO knew!

After a rough time hating school and figuring out what to do after the death of someone I grew up with, I'm back to good grades and working toward my BA. I work as a barista and also enjoy doing seasonal retail for a well-respected, high-end leatherware company. None of it is too glamorous, but I'm careful with my money, and have been able to buy a new car and pay for most of my stuff on my own. After college (communications major), I'd like to find a job in PR, advertising, or marketing... maybe even journalism. I don't aspire to be the wealthiest guy around, but I want to make sure that I can provide WELL for myself and whomever I get to spend my life with.

I'm told that i speak very well, both formally and in conversations. To that end, I am still learning french, but can carry on in conversation pretty well. I'm a pretty good skier and am not too shabby on the tennis court. I'm creative and use that in my home, cooking, clothing, crafts, etc. Though I'm not usually the funniest person, I do have the occasional gem of humor that keeps people laughing and gasping for breath - love making people laugh and partaking(yeah, partaking) in laughter myself!

People notice my hair pretty often. I've had a number of people over the years comment that I speak very well, both in my daily vocabulary and in the art of giving a speech. I also TEND to dress pretty nicely, and I DO pick out some killer accessories, lol. I guess the other most common thing would be that people really see how friendly, positive, and genuine I am; I work in retail, currently, so what I have naturally gets built upon, also.

As of today, I jumped right into reading Son of a Witch (follows after Wicked). I tend to prefer fantasy, so Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are all in there. Jurassic Park and The Perks of Being a Wallflower are also faves.

I looove movies, so here are a couple that stand out: The Devil Wears Prada, Jurassic Park, Ms. Congeniality, Changeling, The Transporter...
I guess TV should be lumped in here too. My favorite shows include: 24, Friends, CSI Miami, The Mentalist, Will & Grace, America's test Kitchen, and all three Stargate series.

Food, hmmm... Well, I love cooking (especially baking). Some of my all-time favorite dishes are: crab rangoons (w/ red sweet 'n' sour sauce), blackened tuna, TGI Friday's gourmet mac 'n' 5 cheese, asparagus with a little sesame and soy sauce, mahi mahi (can't really screw that up), STEAK (god, I love steak), and chicken or turkey with marsala sauce.

I used to have a very long and detailed answer for this question, but I've taught myself to relax and go with the flow. I do dream a lot about the future and what I need to do to achieve my dreams. I think a lot about other people and the "what ifs" in life..... possibilities interest me, thus my love for technology and science.

One of my 3 best friends turned 21 today (10-30)... So, those 2 people you see in the corner of the bar laughing their asses off... probably us.

I have screwed up SO many things over the last 22 years - school, friendships, sex, love, etc - but I am constantly working on becoming a better me, for myself and for my loved ones and eventually for Mr. Right.
