Agnosticism but it’s not important
My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've never been great at the whole "who are you, in a 100 words or less" game. Maybe if you're lucky that's because I possess some depth of character that's not easily summarized. More likely, though, it's because I'm like everyone else and I prefer people to make their own judgement without being swayed in their opinion. That said, I realize we are on the internet and there is no other way for folks to make judgement. So in the spirit of being here:

I'm originally from Ohio. I lived in Boston for awhile and it was good. Now I live here and it is also good. A midwesterner in CA via New England. Probably a pretty common story.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Strikes and gutters
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Math. Science. Reason.
A handful of other less nerdy things, too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think you've got the wrong guy. You should ask them. Also, it'd be cool if you let me know what they say. Thanks.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This is a useful question in terms of actually gaining insight into who people are and what they are like, but it's hard not to sound pretentious. Suffice to say, I am into things but not to the point that it's annoying. Here are a few tidbits. If you talk to me in real life more are sure to come up.

Tom Waits, pizza, Heart of Darkness, sushi, Bob Dylan, burritos, the dictionary, the Coen brothers, Tallest Man on Earth, the first three Wes Anderson movies, hot sauce
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm pretty spartan.
Also, 'never' is a strong word.

I really like these six things:
Music (making and listening)
Periodic functions (sinusoids and occasional parties)
Season(ing)s - I added the optional 'ing' in case someone tries to call me out on the fact that seasons are mostly covered by the periodic functions mentioned above. I guess you could say I like winter(green).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wishing I was Tim Riggins
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like Back to the Future Part III almost as much as the first two.

If you think I'm more than just a pretty face...hey, my eyes are up here.
