My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
** I'm partly an inactive profile, I do not search for people, but if you leave a message, I will try to reply **

I'm trying to change the world, or at least some local parts.

I've strong (political) opinions, and most of them are well thought through ;) I like to talk and debate things, but also just to do / test stuff / DIY: making software/electronics contraptions or screen printing T-shirts for my society. I'm not a sports/workout guy, but I like to walk, bike, sail and do stuff.

I do not like: constant communication, lacking trust and make-up.
I do like: ambition, debates and open people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Be distracted by interesting projects, all the time. Although at least in my work I'm on a bigger project since last year: I teamed up with a friend to make organizations (political party, labor union) make data driven decisions. It started with as a test but we kind of both stopped our old business and are now doing this more than fulltime. At the moment the campaign we are working in is priority number one, which sometimes means crazy work hours (7 days / week and/or getting out of the office at 02:00), let's hope it pays off in political action.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People tend to think I'm way younger and a local quite often.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Mostly educational/work related and other random philosophical or science work.

I found Jagten impressive. I have to admit I suppress a fondness for romantic drama / comedy. I totally love movies like Jeux d'enfants and Buddy. For 8+ year I used to go to the weekly sneak preview in the film theatre, but I'm killing habbits.

Mostly news/docu related. I'm a news junky, although I'm on rehab.
I still like simple stuff like Shaun The Sheep too :)

I listen to stuff like Argos (Dutch), Radiolab and Serial.

Stuff like ZaZ/random French music for working, e.s.t., Ólafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi, Roberto Cacciapaglia, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Philip Glass but also more 'indie' music (independent music, which can be anything), there is a nice monthly playlist called Indie Rock Playlist. Two years ago I 'discovered' the Amsterdam concert hall, I love going there, but I also like small unorganized festivals / venues with non-classical music (I still mainly listen to random indie music).

I'm about 12 years vegan (omnivore the years before). I like variation of food, I really like my weekly box with locally grown organic vegetables and fruit, just to kill my habit of always eating the same 20 or so vegetables from the supermarket. For the rest I like good food, as in quality. Good olive oil, good pasta, etc.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The ability to create stuff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. How things are broken; Politics; Meaning; The World; Life; Concepts; User Interface; Design.

Most of the times I seem to notice and question things nobody else is paying attention to. It's very hard for me to shut off my head, or stop observing, drinking alcohol party works.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If my Friday nights will become more stable I will write it down here.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hacked the social housing system to get an appartment, I'm not kidding.
