I'm from the Midwest originally. Right now I am a scientist finishing up my research for school. I'm in Los Alamos and I really need to meet other people. The problem here is everyone knows everybody else, so it's hard to find something different and just 'get away'.

I really enjoy the outdoors. Hiking, running, and frisbee are some of my favorite activities. I am looking for people to hang out with. Right now I am trying to become more athletic with both aerobic and anaerobic activities.

I also really enjoy cooking and just messing around with various recipes I come up with. Unfortunately, since I do not like to cook for myself, I don't make anything too elaborate that often.

I'm hoping I can meet a nice female companion. The problem with being in a male dominated field in a male dominated town is it is hard to meet compatible women. I'm happy with life but that part is missing.

I'm a grad student in engineering at from Wisconsin. I am currently in New Mexico. Not sure what I will do when I am done, but I would like to go into either a scientific career or teaching.

I also work closely with the student group at the lab I work at. I spend a lot of time planning events, setting up meetings, leading socials, and all sorts of things.

You should really ask the people who know me. I can hardly give an unbiased answer to that question.

Books: I primarily like science fiction (more traditional like Asimov or Bradbury) and non-fiction. I'm a history buff, so I like to read on stuff like that as well. I also like books on social science as well.

Movies: I like ones that make me think. I like dramas and comedies. One type of movie I really dislike are horror films. To be honest, I do not see that many movies. While I do not mind it, I usually do not take the initiative on my own to watch them.

Music: Classic rock, hard rock, alternative, and jazz.

Food: I tend to be experimental with my cooking when I have time. My favorite types of foods are Mexican, Indian, Italian, and Chinese. I also like to try vegetarian things, even though I am not a vegetarian.

Friends back home in WI. My next hiking trip. Getting done with school.

It varies. Out with friends or relaxing.

I don't really watch TV and I am embarrassingly behind in watching movies, but I'm trying to get better.

You are looking to meet someone and are in your 20's. I like kids, but I really don't want any of my own right now. I'm sorry, but it's just not for me at this point in my life.
