What I’m doing with my life
I recently graduated from Emerson College, so now I am reading, writing, nannying and thinking full time.
I’m really good at
Talking to parrots, spinning a yarn, taking walks, enjoying being goofy, asking questions, eating sweet potatoes, reading fantastic books, smelling things, getting freckles, and breathing.
The first things people usually notice about me
One time I was in a library and needed help finding a reference tome. I approached the little old lady behind the desk. I asked for help and she responded, "First, you must answer two questions." Thinking I had stumbled onto a quest, I readily agreed. "First, is your hair naturally that curly?" "Um, yes." "And is it really that red?" "Yep." Then she beamed at me and we were on our way.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I adore Stephen King books, historical fiction, and things in iambic pentameter. Mad Men is a current obsession, but I recently had to give up Doctor Who (I have a whole rant, if you want to hear it.) The Simpsons is my favorite animated show--some people think it is going downhill, but I think it is better than ever.
The six things I could never do without
Sunscreen. Bugscreen. Water. Sunglasses. Shoes. The written word.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
alliteration
On a typical Friday night I am
Getting home from work, having a celebratory margarita, finishing a book, or painting my toenails.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Please go read the link below. If you think this is crazy talk, overly paranoid, or straight up wrong, please don't bother to contact me.
