I am an amalgam of characteristics, most of which are positive. In my youth, I was much shorter than I am today. Many people say I'm nice, a few say I'm too nice, and slightly fewer say I'm not nice at all (but nobody listens to them, because those people are jerks). Like most humans, I love seeing new places. My days in the military took me all over the country and the globe, but my favorite destinations are the national parks like yosemite and redwoods. If I could live there, I would. With a family of sasquatches (sasqueetch?).
I am definitely NOT a cocky alpha bro-male. I try my best to be calm, compassionate, and rational. I think that guys who bombard every attractive woman they see with heavy-handed flirtation are intrusive and borderline creepy; I would rather try to make you laugh than talk about the circumference of your booty. I can get a little crazy at times, but it's the good kind of crazy that entertains everyone in the room. People have compared me to Charlie from It's Always Sunny; this may or may not be a compliment (I'll leave that up to you). Staying positive and having fun are important to me; everyone has a better time when I am a total goofball at work.
I am looking for a friendship based on shared interests and comfortable hangouts before attempting anything serious. I have found that being friends first is the key to a quality relationship. Physical attraction is important, but I am mostly looking for someone who appreciates my sense of humor and the way I think.
