First of all, due to several comments made to me relative to my motives for being here, I find it necessary to alter my profile to include the following:

I realize some men utilize this medium for their own selfish reasons, but I am not one of them.

I am a decent, kind individual whose heart is right and I am respectful of others. I would never do something that would compromise my integrity, or the integrity of anyone else.

Having said these things, a little bit about me:

28 years Retired AF, well traveled, tolerant, patient, kind and caring. Love music both playing and recording, looking for the good in others and magnifying it. Currently a full time student preparing for my post AF career helping other wounded veterans.

Would like to meet someone sweet, nice, caring and romantic, with a good head on her shoulders who is OK with me being a veteran and would consider me a priority as I would her (for me, that includes putting her before academics and I really, really like learning). :)

If you need references, my kids will vouch for me.

Reinventing myself as a civilian (a greater challenge than one might think when one is used to always knowing what the mission is), serving others, helping my kids be successful in life, focusing on finding someone compatible and loving her with all my heart.

Listening, helping others, academics and a few other things if you're interested in knowing.

Soft spoken, kind, understanding.

Books: I have a few favourites, mostly non-fiction, teach me something kind of books.

Movies: Not sure if I have a favourite, but O' Brother Where Art Thou? and Somewhere in Time are pretty good.

Shows: Nothing specific

Music: Eclectic for the most part, not a fan of rap, grunge, punk, hard or acid rock, etc.

Food: If it's edible I'll try it. :) Been in a lot of different countries, tried a variety of foods, some good, some...well....

Doing homework, music, or helping family with a variety of things.
Occasionally I'll take in a movie, go for a drive, maybe an overnight camping trip, etc. Always open to new ideas.
