My self-summary
22-year-old therapist in training with a flair for theatricality. I feel that I have a decent sense of other people's character, and I wound up doling out advice to friends when I was younger. This is why it does not surprise me I'm on my way to being a therapist.

I like to laugh, I like to dance, I like to sing, I like to do my own thing (look at that, I'm a poet!).

I feel we all have duality, that no one is strictly one-sided. Whereas I do like to be silly, I find the time for fun things and to also be diligent and organized.

I see that sometimes people will label themselves a hopeless romantic on a site like this. That's all peaches and creme, but I'd want to call myself a hopeful romantic. That might seem lame, but I believe "hopeless" connotes you'll never find love. I believe that I will someday, thus I am a hopeful romantic. : )
What I’m doing with my life
Been in Montréal for a few months, moved for graduate school.

I want to be a drama therapist (it is not therapy for theatre people lol, check NADTA.org for a definition).
I’m really good at
Impersonations/impressions (celebrities, friends, cartoon characters, etc.). I can quote movies/TV extensively.

Speaking sardonically yet almost completely unaware when someone is doing so to me.

Time management; Balancing my studies and time to watch TV or read for pleasure, I can do it!

I also have the hearing of a bat. In crowded/noisy areas I can still pick up on what song is playing on the radio. When I was a kid I swear I could still hear what people on televison were saying when it was on mute.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile or my freckles.

Maybe my hair? It's like some weird combo of a redhead, brunette, and blonde.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many to list. But I'll condense it:

Books:
The Taming of the Shrew, As You Like It, King Lear, The Merchant of Venice, Wicked, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Proof, A Tale of Two Cities, Venus in Fur, Thirteen Reasons Why, Mildred Pierce, The Sookie Stackhouse novels (True Blood), Misery, Carrie, etc.

Movies:
A Nightmare on Elm Street, Mean Girls, The Little Mermaid, Clue, Beauty & the Beast, Halloween 4, Friday the 13th, Child's Play, Black Swan, Chicago, The Dark Knight, Moulin Rouge, RHPS, etc.

TV:
Glee, Medium, Desperate Housewives, Charmed, South Park, Friends, Family Guy, Nip/Tuck, Once Upon a Time, Sex & The City, American Horror Story, True Blood, Rocko's Modern Life, Xena Warrior Princess, etc.

Music:
Lady GaGa, Adele, Evanescence, Amy Winehouse, Beyoncé, Sugarland, Carrie Underwood, Britney Spears, Florence + The Machine, The Pretty Reckless, The Beatles, etc.

Food:
Pizza, chicken, beef, cheese, etc. (These are bare basics).

I do enjoy cooking, and I've found I'm particularly keen on experimenting with different Asian flavors, though I don't have the patience to get too complicated (I hate the prep work).
The six things I could never do without
1) TV/movies.
2) dunkin donuts iced coffee (baileys is optional).
3) books.
4) bow ties.
5) me time.
6) a mattress.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I have to do next on my list of things to do.

The macabre, sex, my ambitions and aspirations.

Why am I not best friends with Helena Bonham Carter?
On a typical Friday night I am
My Fridays used to consist of either hanging out with friends or having a relaxing night to myself. Now, it's more than likely I will be at home writing up progress notes for my clients and writing my own process notes.

You've ever called out Beetlejuice's name 3x and half expected Michael Keaton to appear.

You'd like someone to discuss TV and/or movies with.

Or if you simply would like to know me better.
