My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A little curious, how this whole thing is supposed to work.

The advice I've heard is: Do the things you love and hopefully you'll meet someone who likes doing those same things. That's the theory at least. In addition to those things that I have photographic proof of, I also enjoy other activities that don't make as interesting photo-ops like; reading, play-writing, exercising, keeping up to date on current events, watching movies and playing games, long walks on the beach... Pina Coladas, getting caught in the rain, etc.

So in conclusion, I'll just say I'm looking to meet new people and this seemed like one more way to do it. I'm not too concerned with meeting the right type of person yet because I'm too young to know what that right type might be. I'd just like to grab some coffee or a drink and chat with someone I've never met before. Who knows? Maybe plan some adventures.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I own my own business (a recent development Oct 2012) so most of my energy goes into that right now. I went from being a playwright and political science major to solidly middle class and overly ambitious. I own a building.... never expected that to happen... well, correction the bank owns the building, I just own the mortgage. The good news is I never have to be bored again because I always have something to do, and people are willing to pay for my time. The bad news is with no one to come home to I spend all of my time at the shop. Working til 3am is productive but sad. There is more to life after all.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being too modest to fill this out for the moment.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I look like Edward Snowden and have the name of a prominent r&b/domestic violence artist.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working unfortunately. But I am my own boss so it's my own fault. Mostly a winter thing. In the summers there are so many ways to spend a Friday night they are hard to count. Camping, Traveling, Concerts to name a few.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Here is what scares me. I interact with dozens of people every day but it is hard to say I have actually "met" anyone in the past six months. I just want to have an opportunity to have a conversation with someone. Everything has been reduced to slick commerce and electronic communication and all I want is to just grab some coffee and meet someone. No other expectations beyond the simple human connection of knowing that a conversation is still something that is still possible in the digital age.

Why not? Take the initiative. I promise I'm prompt, polite, and perfectly fine with idle chit chat or a soulful discussion of anything from Breaking Bad to metaphysics. Seriously do it. You went to the trouble of setting this thing up. Do it.
