I like trying things. I want to have life a bit like Forrest Gump's, had he been a real person. I've been to a black panther party meeting, I've been a music composition major, I've played tuba in various locales in Europe, I've been Italian and Chinese, I've been an english teacher, I've done data entry and nearly gouged my eyes out after every day which led to me being Chinese, I've been in ballet, tai kwon do, piano lessons, gymnastics, scuba classes, art classes, writing classes, band, softball, volleyball, and soccer, I've been in Hong Kong and I would have married it had there been a way to do so. I want to be a foster parent, a foreign exchange host parent, a history teacher, a guitar player, to own a seafoam green vespa and for the horn, when honked, to go "ahOOOOgah", I want to go back in time and change the one thing I will always regret which was that I wasn't able to get tickets to the last tour my Simon and Garfunkel will ever give, I want to live on the east coast, I want to live by a beach, I want to have 2 little dogs one day and name them Ghengis and Kublai Khan and give them orders only in other languages. I love maps.

I live my life for fantastic adventures in travel and escape, and the periods in between these activities are generally random and quite unremarkable. I've lived in Italy and China, and bashed about both of those geographical regions of the world, falling in love with Florence, Barcelona, Edinburgh, London, Ibiza, Sorrento, Hong Kong, Singapore, Almost all of Thailand and the monkeys who live in the trees and steal your belongings, and Shanghai. Currently working out what to do next but it's going to need to be intensely fabulous. Wichita Falls is sucking my soul into a dark abyss from which I fear there may be no return.

Right now I'm a supervisor at a Children's Shelter for CPS kids and Junior Parolees and runaways. Challenging and frustrating and completely worth every minute. Also just started at a junior high as a teacher's aid. Love love love.

Off work at 3:00pm!!! What amazing things can happen in the evening hours when you're not at work till 11pm! So far the amazing things include movies and staying home but man oh man I'm sure some amazing things are out there somewhere.
