I've never used one of these sites before, but hey, figured I'd check it out.

I am a very nerdy, very reserved person (but when I know you a bit more, I open up). I care about things and I want someone who can be serious. BUT, that doesn't mean I can't have fun. I'm just a very relaxed person about it. I don't enjoy large crowds, but hanging out with a few good friends is the best way to spend an evening.

Intellectual conversation is something I enjoy and would appreciate. Serious conversations about not-so-serious things are also welcome. I have debated the merits of pokemon, Law and Order, and BBC Sherlock. And it has been fun.

I am not a sporty or active person. I'll be up front, I am a heavy person. And eventually, I'll get around to changing it. For now, it is what it is. I much prefer reading to sports, although I do like to ice skate/rollerblade. I also like games of strategy. I can play cards, checkers and bocce ball. Settlers of Catan is cool too.

I am curious to see how this website works out.

I just graduated from my undergraduate institution. I'm going to law school in the Fall.

I am extremely quiet when I meet people the first time. Once I know someone a bit more, I open up.

I read almost everything I can get my hands on. A Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Stephen King, Michael Crichton, Jodi Picoult, Neil Gaiman, and John Green are a just a few of my favorite series and authors.

I love to watch movies. I like Mel Brooks movies, Star Wars, The Naked Gun, Falling Down, Jaws, and other sorts. The best "serious" movies I've seen are Iron Jawed Angels, and Recount. (There are others, but this is what I can think of now). I also enjoy animated movies.

I'm loving Game of Thrones, BBC Sherlock, and am just beginning to watch Doctor Who. Also like Grey's Anatomy, Law and Order, NCIS, ER, Bones, and Rizzoli & Isles. I am very, very obsessed with Sherlock.

Music. I like rock, 60s, 70s, 80s pop, 80s head banger music, Green Day, Rise Against, Broadway musicals (Wicked, Avenue Q, RENT), and some light, pop/techno/dance music.

Books, books, family, books, friends, books. Not in any particular order.

Philosophy, education, history, ethics, books, movies, technology, politics, and various other interesting things. Nerdy and intellectual (or at least I think so!)

Reading, watching TV, hanging with friends, going to a movie/watching a movie, or playing board games. I'm very chill.
