I'm anything but simple. I usually come off as the quiet type, but only because I rather agree with the conclusion of the That the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy came to about humans, when we stop using our mouths we start using our brains. I usually hate using titles to describe my self but here there seems little other way. I guess Im what you could call a philosopher-hacker. I live to learn anything I can and strive to be a self taught polymath. I am also a psychonaut, an explorer of the mind and of different states of consciousness, using them to gain different perspectives, especially on religious beliefs. I'm an atheist myself but love the study of comparative religion and use techniques to personally study the origins of them. I'm a writer and a musician, drums specifically. But least of all am I an aggressive person I do not push my ideas or beliefs on others but rather ask for criticism on all my ideas. I love good intelligent conversation above all but be prepared to see how far the rabbit hole really goes.

Learning almost anything, especially technology related. I've loved the drums since I was about 10. Writing, when given proper motivation and inspiration.

Books: I love books on modern theoretical physics so anything by Stephen Hawking, Brian Greene, and Carl Sagan. Philosophy is also a passion so any of the great philosophers, especially the existentialists. Kant, Nietzsche, Camus, Dostoevsky, among many others. When it comes to fiction I love Robert Anton Wilson though I read little fiction anymore.
Movies: Waking Life, Apocalypse Now, Donnie Darko, Any David Lynch movie. The stranger or more it makes you think the better.
Music: Rock mainly, but I have an appreciation for any true musician.

Food, water, the Internet, my brother, fresh air in the mountains occasionally, good conversation.

Everything, and its relation with everything else.

My obsession with learning everything comes from the fact that I've had a few too many close calls with death.
