A sense of humor is a must. I laugh at myself a lot, so I need someone to be able to laugh with me.
I don't attend church any more. I do believe in God, and pray every day. I also believe we have a spiritual guide too. Whether this is the Holy Ghost or a Guardian Angel, I don't know, but there is force that occasionally takes my hand and leads me where I need to be. There's more to this universe than we can ever imagine.
I'm looking for a man that can accept me for who I am. I have imperfections just like everyone else. I don't lie, cheat or steal. I don't do illegal drugs of any kind. Although marijuana is not illegal any more, I still don't smoke it yet. But some day I might need to. Who knows? I need someone who is very caring and understanding.
Yes, I do smoke. Yes, I do know it is bad for my health. Yes, I have been told to quit by my doctors and every other person that does NOT smoke! So I don't need you to tell me too. I am a considerate smoker. I will go outside or away from everyone who does not smoke to have a cigarette, if that's what it takes or just not smoke around them. But I have been smoking off and on since I was 10 years old, yes 10, that's when I was able to buy my first pack. And it was Marlboro's because I was into westerns & cowboys as a little girl and tomboy and I happen to like the Marlboro man on the package and ads! lol So don't think you're going to change me now unless you are a super human being!!
I was born and raised on the farm, so don't think I'm stupid about things either. I hate city life, even though I live in a small town now, I'm always looking for a place in the country that's affordable. Sure I've gotten older and there are some things I can't do like I used to. But I ain't washed up yet. I'm not much good at chopping wood anymore, but I can sure stack it. I've always been a tomboy and my girlfriends are girly girls, you know city girls. Always discussing hair and makeup and all that stuff. I'm sorry, I'm not that kind of girl. lol I want to discuss plants, home repairs, repairs that need done to my vehicle, when the grass has to be mown again and stuff like that. I don't have time to stand and look at 50 shades of lipstick. I buy what I need and get out. I hauled livestock with the semi. I didn't have time for make up so I quit using it. With livestock you have to GO, there's no stopping, only for fuel, and then you run for the bathroom, grab your coffee on the way out while signing for your fuel and go again. It's a rush job. You grab sleep wherever you can. After you offload your cattle or hogs you have to scrape out the manure from your trailer. If there is a trailer washout within a 100 miles your lucky and can go there. It is a grueling lifestyle and one I adored. Sorry if I bored you. I tend to ramble on because I loved my career.
But as you can clearly see, I am not a high heel clicking girl. I love my blue jeans and tee shirts. Sitting around a campfire drinking a beer is just fine with me! I do love to go to a museum now an then though. I do love architecture too. Buildings have always fascinated me. Designs I should say. How intricate and delicate some of them are. I love to go to those historical society open house tours they have and go through houses. They are gorgeous.
Enough said here.
