I am a lawyer in my 30's who is looking for a long-term relationship. Although I earn money by practicing law, my true passion is working with inner city teens to realize their own greatness. I am looking for someone loving, kind, and romantic who is up for living big. I love learning and doing new things and I love to travel and would like a partner who shares those passions. I have traveled all over the country and the world and have many more trips I plan on taking.

I am also passionate about kids and definitely want kids of my own. I am very socially aware and lean pretty far to the left, although I'm the only liberal I know who was raised on a farm and loves country music and two-stepping.

I'm currently a lawyer and a volunteer with at-risk teens. My goal is to start my own nonprofit to complement the volunteer work I do and to coach at-risk teens who want to become leaders in social causes. I'm also devoted to my 2 nephews, who live near Seattle, and love to travel and learn new things.

I'm outgoing, fun, interested in people, and have killer blue eyes.

Books: I have never been able to pick a favorite, but I like fiction (Barbara Kingsolver, mild chick lit, some classics), personal growth and spiritual stuff (You Can Heal Your Life, Eckhart Tolle, Eat Pray Love), and some guilty pleasures like Twilight. I know, I know.

Movies: Out of Africa is my hands-down all-time favorite. I love indie movies, foreign films, chick flicks and Oscar season. Some of my other favorites are Slingblade, Life is Beautiful, You Can Count on Me, Good Will Hunting, Planes Trains & Automobiles, and Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Music: Country is my favorite. I cannot explain this. I also like pop, top 40, 80's. Pretty boring in this department.

Food: I love to try everything and one of my favorite parts of traveling somewhere exotic is trying new foods and wine.
