LPN, and taking care of my father who has had a series of strokes and requires around-the-clock supervision/medical attention. When not doing that I'm reading, listening to music, exercising, or taking online classes.

Recently got back into playing tennis. I started running 5 months ago for the first time in my life and now love it (which is ironic because I always thought that a person that runs voluntarily without something chasing him/her shouldn't be trusted:))

Being kind, making people laugh, enjoying life, being too generous, and messing things up in an Epic fashion sometimes...

That my picture is not me at all, and that I look more like one of the bad guys from "the devil's rejects" only i'm holding a machete.

Well, either that or my blue eyes. It's a toss up I guess.

I enjoy reading, before going into nursing I was a literature major. But I'm not stuck up or pretentious when it comes to books...I enjoy reading: Joyce, Hemingway, R.A. Salvatore, Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahnuik, Burgess, Kerouac, Burroughs, Plath, Bukowski, Ginsberg, Sexton, Ray Carver, Tim O'Brien, Hesse, Nietzsche, Dostoevsky, Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, J.L. Bourne, Z.A. Reicht, Crichton, King, Orwell, Orsen Wells, Aldous Huxley, London, Dahl, Sartre, Flannery O'conner, Abercombie, Brothers Grimm, Jules Verne, etc.

My favorite movies are: Magnolia, Life is Beautiful, Drugstore Cowboy, The Professional, The Thing, Sin City, Hi Fidelity, A.I., American Beauty, Office Space, Just Friends.

I don't watch a lot of t.v. of late BUT I like to watch "The Walking Dead", "Game of Thrones", and "Shameless"

As far as music goes, the two albums I've been listening to incessantly of late are Fiona Apple's "Idler Wheel" and "UGLY" by the Screaming Females...Check 'em out!:P

Food, i'm not picky but I try to eat healthy.

Actually, I think we'd all be surprised with what we could do without. I pride myself in needing little and finding happiness in the small things.

Astrophysics, astrobiology, The Universe, String theory, Quantum entanglement, my friends and family, zombie survival plans, ways to express personal truth as story truth.

This IS a friday night. ha. Either out at an open mic, coffeehouse, having a drink, or home reading a book. Exciting stuff.

I evidently have this penchant for female indie music artists, I'm not sure what that says about me.
