I am cambrian man, freedom fighter, and poet.
My Self-Summary
My screen name refers not to Cambria, but the
Cambrian Period. I found
the idea of an
anomalocarid in a business suit
incredibly amusing.
I like excellent
typography, elegant programming
languages, music that makes me look up words and design
challenges.
I am looking to meet a lady that has a sense of humor and is
otherwise fun to be around. I'm actually up for a lot of things. I
may not be outdoorsy by nature but I am willing to try a lot of
different things. But hey, going to restaurants and movies and such
is all good, too. Frankly, I don't much care what we do as long as
you're interesting and we get along. The rest falls into place,
right?
What I’m doing with my life
I teach kids how to use computers. Honest. I'm pretty good at it, I
think. Before that, I had been doing customer service work for
various MMOs. Kindergarteners are easier to deal with than the
average WoW player.
In my spare time I work on half-baked indie games that rarely get
far but are fun to work on. I can talk about non-video game stuff,
of course, but I thought I'd get it out of the way right up front.
Now, if you want to discuss ludology vs. narrotology, the dynamics
of community management in a persistent world, or why interactive
fiction remains important, I might have to ask you to marry me.
I’m really good at
I find if I try to learn something, I usually can, as long as it
doesn't require a lot of coordination. So, I guess... that. I just
get easily distracted. I've given up on forcing myself, it's better
just to hop from subject to subject and trust that I'll pick it up
along the way.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know, they've all been too polite to say. The spare head,
maybe?

I've grown attached to my cell phone (a BlackBerry at the moment,
I'm so lame)
The internet, humanity's greatest time waster... and I mean
great.
Lip balm... chapped lips drive me nuts.
My glasses. I'd be blind without them.
Zune Pass... ok, I'm sure I could make due with some other way to
get whatever I feel like listening to, but let's just say... some
way to get whatever music I feel like listening to.
My bionic brain.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever's on my mind at the moment, I think. It varies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Used to be playing board games, but that hasn't gone on much
recently. That's why I'm here. Duh.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
My PIN. I've cleverly encoded it in my profile. If you can figure
it out, the fortune is YOUR'S.
You should message me if
You think I'm neat. I'll cop to it -- if you think I'm cool, then
you're probably someone I'd like, too.
