My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Here's the deal: I'm a playwright and solo performer. For seven months out of the year, I travel around North America and, now, Europe for fringes and festivals and college gigs and two-night runs in random small towns. (If you want to see me perform and/or meet me publicly in person, you can find my schedule on camerynmoore.com. Er. When I update it. Dammit. Or just ask!)

** I will be changing my city in the profile 4 to 8 weeks in advance of my arrival to that city, and will be posting my actual dates in that city down below. Try to keep up! :-) **

ANYWAY.

I don't have a lot of free time when I'm out and about, but I'm always looking for smart, articulate people with whom I can play word games (Boggle, Bananagrams, Scrabble), have coffee chats or a quick bite to eat, and maybe some fuckery, if the chemistry is right. This isn't "wham-bam-thank you-ma'am" stuff--I generally prefer dates that shift smoothly from coffee and games to conversation to play to pizza break to more play to cuddles. You get me.

I do enjoy other activities, too--cooking, good conversations, live theater, movies that we add running commentary to--so if you don't necessarily like to put out on the first date, that's all right. I won't judge you ;-)

In the bedroom I'm looking for sex + kink, that is, fucking as primary focus, kink as fantastic add-on before, during, and/or after. We can talk about what kink means to each of us. My ideal play partners are people with whom I can stay in touch during the long intervals between my visits, and who would be interested in repeat offending when I get back (usually every year).

I am most interested in people who are either poly already or poly-friendly, so that the possibility is there to reconnect next year, whatever else may be going on in your life. I don't even know how to look for that in somebody, so I'll just put it out there. I'm not interested in being a snack between main meals, something that you only pick up when prospects for a "serious" LTR are scarce. I'm a delicious part of a well-rounded sex/love/play diet!

WHAT I BRING TO THE TABLE
I am fierce, articulate, loud, thoughtful, creative, attentive, extremely verbal, and dirty like a motherfucker. I like making out. I am a city girl. I give my appetites room to roam. I dress "inappropriately" for my age (44) and size (tall and fat). I am married and in an open relationship. I am an extrovert. I enjoy coffee and cigarettes; those are the two drugs that I indulge in regularly. I am a phone sex operator. I wear one pair of cowboy boots almost exclusively when the weather is right. In addition to my husband, I have three boyfriends in my "inner circle", whom I love very much; I don't know what my upper limit is for heart commitments, but I haven't reached it yet. I cook very well. I am strong and have stamina. I am good with my hands.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
... I don't know. What _do_ you bring to the table?

Intelligent, well-written responses will receive preference. Anything else will be ignored. And I'm not being mercenary about this, but really, if you come to one of my shows or events and then talk with me a bit afterward, you will definitely jump to the head of the queue. My shows are so autobiographical that they're almost Cliff notes to me. Why miss out on a total-immersion opportunity like that?

My schedule is weird, but very well defined, that is, I have a set phone schedule and a set travel schedule and a set performance schedule, but there are a few spaces in between where maybe we can make something fit.

That's what she said.

Ba-DUM-bump! Thank you, I'm here all week!

** I am finishing my US performances for the year in Atlanta (Nov. 13-15) and then am stopping in DC and Boston, but my dance card is full for those cities. From Dec. 1 through end of April I will be in Montreal.

If you are into planning ahead--I am!--my stops for 2015 will probably include the following:

Toronto * Peterborough, ON * Chicago * Austin * Houston * New Orleans * Atlanta * Baltimore * Philadelphia * London * Brighton * Bath * Bristol * Cardiff * Manchester * Glasgow * Edinburgh

Drop me a line if we're a good match, percentage wise, and you're somewhere in that list!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am creating intense, transformative epiphanies and awkward but much-needed conversations through amazing sex-positive theatre.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Cooking and baking. This sucks because I am often in other people's kitchens, which means I am terrified about messing up their ceramic stove tops or breaking something, and they arrange their kitchen shit in the weirdest ways, but... YES. I love the culinary arts, and am pretty reliably gifted in them.
- Writing.
- Parallel parking. One time I was parking in a tight spot in San Francisco. An old man was sitting on a nearby stoop, watching me. It didn't take me three points, but not that many more to get in. I got out and checked the space on either end of my car... FOUR INCHES ON EITHER SIDE, PEOPLE. The old man applauded me.
- Public speaking and storytelling.
- Laughing. People have told me that I should get paid to sit in opening night audiences.
- Massage, especially scalp and neck/shoulder and feet.
- Chatting with strangers.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
- My voice. it's pretty loud, and also very distinctive.
- My size. Big and tall, I'm telling you. I own the space around me.
- My tits.
- My boots.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I don't have a lot of time to read new books, so I tend to read "comfort books", books I've read before and enjoy: Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, Austen books, the Kushiel's Dart series. In bookstores I am drawn to minimalist graphic novels that don't use a lot of written language and non-fiction books about marketing/buzz (The Tipping Point). I really liked Guns, Germs, and Steel.

Movies, ditto with regard to "comfort selections". I have a very low threshold for handling violence, gore, terror, and mass extinction/armageddon-type plot lines--I will actually get nightmares--so there are many movies that are completely out for me. I enjoy kids' animation a lot, Pixar and the like. It's a toss-up between Up, Monsters Inc., and Toy Story 3, with Shrek a close fourth. I have seen Wreck-It Ralph FIVE TIMES, and would happily see it more. I also like well-done period pieces, such as Austen adaptations and the Horatio Hornblower series from some years back. I love movie musicals, too; one of these days I want to go to (or produce!) a Sing-Along Grease. Other ones I really like are: Amelie, Secretary, Chicago (the musical), the Bourne trilogy, Rize (the dance documentary about LA crump).

Music: anything I can sing along to, and/or harmonize with on the road. I taught beginner hip hop and choreographed, too, so I definitely tune in to hip hop/R&B/urban top 40, whatever the kids are calling it these days. But I'm pretty omnivorous. Represented on my current "drive" CD (stuff I crank with the windows wide open) are: Jay-Z, R.E.M., Blink 182, OK Go, Joan Jett, Hot Chelle Rae, Imogene Heap, M.I.A., Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Mika, Taio Cruz, and Sean Kingston. In putting together the pre-show music for my latest play, I discovered Jeff Buckley's cover of "Hallelujah" and rediscovered k.d. lang. Wow.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(in no particular order, and "never" being relative to maintaining a certain level of comfort in North American society)

- clean underwear
- the Internet and a convenient way to access it
- my boots
- coffee (no sugar, lots of cream)
- sex
- pork, in all its delicious forms
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Sex. Writing. Theater. Promoting my shows and events. Gender relations. Relationships, period. Body politics. Male sexuality. Cooking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Performing. Or flyering for my show outside of someone else's performance. Or creating custom erotica on the sidewalk for passersby.... Grmph. I'm in showbiz. Can we NOT talk about Friday nights?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In private settings, I will happily eat the marrow out of chicken bones and bite the cartilage off the ends of pork ribs.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
- you can tell me WHY you think we should meet, in complete sentences.
- you might enjoy being part of my migratory habits.
- you have been to one of my shows and really liked who you saw on stage. That's pretty much me, with better vocal projection.
