I am a fun loving extrovert with an inner nerd and a strong drive
to achieve my own special kind of success. One of the first things
people notice about my personality is that I love to be out with
friends and meeting new people. Once you get to know me a little
better you’ll find out that I am much more nerdy than at first
glance. I enjoy science, computers, and politics and
discussing/debating/learning about them. Get to know me even better
and you’ll find that underneath the carefree personality, I am
actually very driven to be successful at the things I put my mind
to.
I find it odd that so few people put in their profile what they are doing and where they see themselves going. How else would you know if you have compatible goals/ambitions? As for me, I have been working in engineering consulting in biotech but am transitioning to a research position in an academic lab to bolster my credentials for grad school. Hopefully in my future I will be able to work a startup in the biotech field.
Don’t discount me as a stick in the mud based on what I want to do professionally. I’m no one trick pony and certainly no old dog. I like to tons of other things from clubbing, sailing, tough muddering, neologizing, hiking, camping, fancy dinnering, snowboarding, video gaming, salsa dancing, rock climbing, SCUBA, etc… ; and I love to try new things all the time.
I am a people pleaser and that goes double for relationships. I like nothing more than to make someone I care for feel like a princess, but if you are a princess I will quickly tire of your company. So, if you think its fun to get dirty every now and then, would enjoy a night hike, and can operate a drill I would be happy to draw you a nice bubble bath, bring your favorite hot beverage, and build/fix anything you want. However, if you are going to whine or let a rude waiter ruin an otherwise perfect evening please go terrorize someone else or find yourself a nice pansy.
