I feel like at this point in my life I know who I am and what I want but I also feel that an important part of the journey is staying open to possibilities and creating space for growth.

I like to meet new people, explore new places, learn new things and taste new foods but I also enjoy and appreciate the comfort of home and things familiar.

Things I like - live music, NPR, finding new restaurants, the beach, wandering around bookstores, farmer's markets, dark chocolate, red wine, dancing, big dogs, conversation that makes hours feel like minutes, sitting in comfortable silence with someone, belly laughs, people watching at the airport, crisp clean sheets, really hot showers, sexy black heels, sweating through a hard workout

Things that bug me - loud cell phone talkers, people that use the word "hella" or "holla" for that matter, all caps typing, bad drivers, bad drivers on cell phones, selfish parkers, people who drag small animals on leashes, dogs in purses, bad water pressure, closeminded religious people, the fact that I find profiles with "replies very selectively" at the bottom intriguing

I am a nurse. My job involves working with and educating new moms and babies in the hospital as well as outpatient setting.

I have also done some producing and acting. I enjoy being involved in the creative process and the collaboration involved in completing a project. Balancing the two different worlds can be a challenge.

The saying "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give" resonates with me. I feel like helping others keeps me grounded and having a creative outlet keeps me sane.

Not taking myself too seriously. Hitting the snooze button one time too many. Being open and honest. Finding the absurdity and humor in everyday life.

It's fun to be a foodie in this town, so many restaurants to explore. I prefer healthy eating but am not above indulging in the occasional drippy burger.

I have eclectic taste in music. There is not much that I won't listen to but sometimes too much techno makes me want to jump out of my skin.

Sometimes when I run around the reservoir in Silverlake I entertain the notion of snatching a cute pup from the dog park.
