My self-summary
I'm probably the most patient guy you've ever met.

I'll not only remember your birthday, but I'll remember your siblings' and your parents'. And if I'm really into you, I'll probably start marking my calendar every month during that specific week so I'll know when to treat you extra nice.

Anybody I care about in my life will will tell you that I’m a really accommodating person. At seafood buffets I'm really good at breaking off and cleanly separating out whole pieces of crab leg meat… during dinner dates, I tend to offer the best looking piece of sushi/the biggest piece crab meat I can separate out/the juiciest part of a steak to my date first instead of myself.

I have a really good idea of what I have to offer and what I'm looking for. I'm in the best shape of my life now and I'm ready to find some activity partners to do anything with to get over my former homebody tendencies. Let's sign up for dance classes, go kayaking in the bay, biking, hiking, rock climbing, whatever! At the very least I'm looking for a running partner. I've never really been into any competitive/team sports, but with the right people I'm up for anything.

I'm strictly professional at work but silly everywhere else. I'm just a big kid at heart who's not easily embarrassed in public. I'm thick-skinned and appreciate all senses of humor including dry sarcastic ones. I'm pretty easy-going and laugh at everything including stupid jokes. I will occasionally geek out (DERP DERP).

I'm definitely of the logical, analytic type. In the right situations I like (calmly) speaking my mind and challenging the status quo. I highly value people that are good at being objective and know when to admit when they don't know/are wrong about something. I also love reading things on wikipedia!
What I’m doing with my life
I was raised in the Bay Area and went to UC Irvine for college.

I work a 9-5 job in student finance/accounts at Samuel Merritt University. I have a number in mind (a salary high enough to afford a down payment for a house in a safe neighborhood, support a family + have a healthy amount of disposable income) and I haven’t reach it yet nor do I currently work for an internationally known company that employs thousands of extremely qualified professionals and I won’t be fully satisfied with my career until I achieve those two things.

I'd love to end up doing something analytical, challenging, involving math or science or programming instead of administrative work.
I'm currently taking online classes and still trying to decide which specific industry I want to end up in, but for now I have my eyes set on tech startups where I think I'd fit pretty well in.

I've had quite a few bouts of loneliness growing up and I still do. Nowadays I try my best to keep my Google Calendar filled up with activities (rock climbing at Ironworks, runs around Lake Merritt, hanging out at video game tournaments) during the work week and am more than willing to share mine with yours- granted you are not an overly attached stalker. I think it’s important to have hobbies and friends to hang out with outside of your significant other.

I generally have a pretty positive outlook on life, I’m constantly reminding myself to keep things in perspective by thinking about how much better off I have it than other people.
I’m really good at
Mentally compartmentalizing the different areas of stress in my life and not misdirecting anger or ever snapping/taking out frustration on the wrong people.

Reading people and acknowledging people's strengths, which I've found is really helpful at my job.

Being a good listener. Being honest and generally open about my own insecurities (everybody's got them) and laughing about them.

Helping my friends with their résumés and job interviewing skills.

I generally have high self-esteem and am not offended easily nor worry about what other people think.

Hobbywise, I run a lot (5:40 is my best mile time), I'm pretty good at fixing computer problems, speed reading, parallel parking like a boss.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a closeted introvert. I can turn on my extrovert side when I need to such as for work, but overall, I like to keep to myself.

I prefer hanging out in smaller groups, so in bigger groups, you'll rarely see me draw attention to myself.

The six things I could never do without
Not gonna include people or abstract concepts like "love, humor, etc"

1. The gym (I feel out of shape when I miss even a couple days
without exercise)
2. The internet (I used to be on digg a lot and now I'm a redditor. Keeping up with the latest memes empowers the geek inside me)
3. Wikipedia (yes, this can be encompassed by "the internet," but I'm on this site so much that it deserves special mention)
4. The local tailor (I highly value fitted clothes)
5. Nalgene bottle (goes wherever I go)
6. Rainbows sandals (used to wear these 365 days a year when I was in school)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Health and fitness. I'm kind of a health nut.

I'm also quite interested in psychology and enjoy talking about the different pros and cons of the four most common ways of giving social support (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_support#Distinctions_in_Measurement) and analyzing things like the 5 Love Languages (http://www.5lovelanguages.com)
On a typical Friday night I am
When it comes to spending time with friends, I'm just as happy staying in as going on adventures and doing outdoorsy stuff. I would like to hang out with my friends more often but my most of my close ones are all busy/live far away.

When we do hang out we generally enjoy going out to eat, seeing a movie, watching the Warriors game, and/or staying in and playing Cranium, Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, Street Fighter, Rock Band, Mario Party, Mario Kart, Kinect games, Smash Brothers, Gears of War.

I'm not really into the whole clubbing scene where it's always too loud to have an actual conversation.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've always gotten along better with females than males.

I like analyzing romantic relationships. My female friends often come to me for advice.
