Hi, here's a bit about me:

I was born and raised near Chicago, have been to just about every state in the US and lived in a few of them...mostly on the west coast. I was a carpenter for several years, a professional musician for a few and had a stint as a sales rep/educator for a major vitamin manufacturer. Although my pics don't show it I do actually smile, laugh loudly often, and I usually make some people I encounter do the same. I love to listen, learn, talk, teach, drink, dance and generally wreak havoc as often as possible.

Working, playing and trying as best I can to tread lightly...while not going overboard...unless it's in my kayak ;)

Regarding food, you name it. I've been cooking with curry a bunch lately. I'll try anything once and love everything from pizza to raw vegan. One huge exception, treats. I don't do them...in the classic sense. The problem is with my "off switch"...it doesn't exist...powerless to say no. The only protection for me is to abstain. I know this seems wacky to most but it is what it is. The good news is that I have absolutely no issues with being around goodies or people when they're gobbling them...in fact there's a bit of a vicarious thing there.

How so many great people seem to endlessly look the other way knowing bombs are killing people all over the planet.

How staggeringly beautiful Seattle is and how I can experience that as much as possible.

My imagination is overactive in the realm of the absurd. I daydream odd scenarios, grandiose outcomes and otherworldly situations. This has always been so.

I go out on off nights mostly so probably not much. Sometimes a show, play, film, make food with friends, go have booze and/or beers with same friends. You know, living large in general.
