My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Quick fact sheet about me: Grew up in Wisconsin. Yes, there are black people there! I've been in New York for 6 years now. I've had the dumbest jobs known to mankind including driving a purple ice cream truck (with no power steering.) that shit sucked. I love going to see live shows of all kinds (except for spoken word.) My spirit animal feels at home at a brass band show in New Orleans. That's me all day. Fun, carefree, dancing next to a sweaty big girl. Perfection. This could go on all day so I'll just save it til we meet.

So like...job stuff: I'm a certified life coach as of November 2013 (Yaassss!) I'm starting out on the road to building my brand/career in that field. It can be scary building a business from the ground up, but I'm doing it anyway ;-) I just started a podcast about sex, sex practices, things that are taboo, connectedness, etc. I'm having so much fun with it! I'm a really curious and passionate person. I like having conversations that sit with you long after they're over..

I'm a social butterfly. I can talk to anybody about damn near anything (so your mom is gonna love me.) All about being outdoors, beach time, cookouts, being in the park, etc. I'm equal parts goof and intellectual sprinkled with a hint of ratchet.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living in this dope ass city and loving my life. I'm transitioning from bartending full time to working as a life coach full time. I love what I do. My focus is working with gay men that want to cultivate more intimacy and connectedness in their lives. At this point, I feel very much settled in to nyc and very much settled into myself. I'm past the point of searching/exploring the scene and being unsure of who I am. I'm happy with where I am and where I'm headed

I read a lot of books about spirituality and self improvement (the secret, the law of attraction, the five love languages, the power of intention, the power of now, etc.)

Movies-Breakin 2:electric boogaloo (Childhood favorite that is now an adult favorite.) Clueless!! Mean Girls!!! Inglorious Basterds, Forrest Gump

Music- anything that will get me moving. I'm a freak for dancing. Sam smith is rocking my world. Justin timberlake can sing to me anyday. love love love erykah badu. i miss d'angelo. I'm a sucker for 90's r&b. Love tribal house and soulful house. Love me some Miles and Ella and Louis. Andre 3000 can do no wrong in my book. My guilty pleasure is ghetto ass, ratchet ass, trashy ass, really bad rap music (i.e. Lil B. 2 chainz, tyga, et al.) I'm embarrassed for my people but can't get enough all at the same time.
