As far as food goes, I am willing to try just about anything, but
no primates or dogs.
With music I enjoy country (something like Hank III and Buck Owens)
and hardcore punk (think His Hero is Gone and Man is the Bastard),
old school punk, but I really stopped caring about liking music in
my early 20's. Frankly music doesn't bother me when played at
decibel in which I can still hold a conversation with someone
without having to shout. Also I enjoy long periods of silence, it
can be hard to get now a days.
Television shows I enjoy "Curb your Enthusiasm", "It's Always Sunny
in Philadelphia", "Louie", and "Peep Show".Just finished watching
the two seasons of "Party Down", great show. With movies the
general genres are action, comedy, westerns. I have also enjoyed in
the last few years the heavy character development films like
"There Will Be Blood" and "The Assassination of Jesse James by the
Coward Robert Ford". I also think "Fight Club " might fall into
that area, which still holds up as a great movie.
Right now most of my reading has to do with mathematics. I do enjoy
both fiction and non-fiction. With fiction I enjoy short stories
and novels. It has been a while but the last novel I read was "The
General in His Labyrinth" by Gabriel García Márquez. With
non-fiction I enjoy any historical subject which strikes my fancy.
One subject in particular which interest me is guerrilla warfare. I
also try to keep up with current affairs. Read superhero comics as
teen to twenty something. I always enjoyed it, should get back into
it.
