My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I always dreamed of being a ninja. Or perhaps a Viking. The good kind of course. While that is playing itself out, I've kept myself busy playing one sport or another, though feeling more comfortable with the theater crowd, further blurring which character from Breakfast Club I would be. While living in Seattle I worked at a flagship Whole Foods store and learned how to play the bass and drums in a garage because some cliches are just too juicy to pass up. I’ve studied Sociology (AKA 'people watching'), graphic design, and more recently Exercise and Sports Science, focusing on special populations.

I enjoy playing music with other people again after a bit of a hiatus. I keep active as much as the next guy, whether it be at the gym, on a yoga mat, or an epic session on the monkey bars. That being said, there are those days breaking a sweat or practicing mindfulness is the last thing I want do and I attempt (with varying degrees of success) to just chilllll. If I can round out the day by scoring a homemade meal wherever n get it (notice the culinary arts are not in my 'what I'm good at' section), reading a good book (currently in a scifi & historical fiction phase), or participating in a Netflix marathon and I'm a happy camper.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently trying to immerse myself in the field of medicine as much as possible. I work in the Clinical Skills Department at the medical school and I also volunteer in the Emergency Department. The combination of the hard science of the human body and the attached person is pretty cool stuff.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm able to make a group of people, be it three or twenty, feel comfortable under all types of situations. Also decent at peeling hard boiled eggs in four moves or less and sensing when a sweet parking place is about to open up.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a couple tattoos with some Latin script that have been accumulated over the years which I'm asked to explain, happily doing so throughout the day.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Besides puppy dogs and rainbows ? Sometimes I think if there's a thought to think I've probably thought it. It's right about then a brand spanking new one will show itself. Then it's back to unicorns and pixie dust.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Try to get various members of the 'ol gang back together which can take the form of darts, dominoes, or watching the Detroit Lions lose.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Chickens, as opposed to other fowl, kinda creep me out with their beaks and cold, black eyes.

Also, I kinda had to learn how to walk again. But that's a long story.
