I am at times uncensored, fiercely loyal, and always laughing.
My Self-Summary
I own a local business and when I'm not running things there, I am
pursing a writing career. My logic and creativity seem to balance
each other out. I have very strong friendships and close ties with
my family (translation: they're around all the time and we haven't
killed each other yet). My relationship with the Lord is a
intregral part of my life.
My hobbies include poker (I play at least once a week), reading
(it's a by-product of my writing), and hanging out with my
friends.
I have started traveling more, recent trips include CO, Vegas, NYC
and Boston.
Looking friendship and hopefully more.
What I’m doing with my life
Working. Loving. Sharing. Writing. Playing. Petting (dogs! get your
mind out of the gutter!). Reading. Growing (intellectually and
spiritually, don't think I have a shot at getting any taller).
I’m really good at
Taking care of others. Loving my friends. Baking. Laughing.
Organizing events (my friends call me the glue). Running my
business. Respecting. Learning.
The first things people usually notice about me
The convertible? That I always have dog hair on my clothes? That I
can't help singing along to the radio? or the music in my head?
That I'm a blonde with a brain? What did you notice?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books - I read mostly fiction (Meg Cabot, Mary Higgins Clark, Jen
Lancaster (who actually writes memoir), Eileen Cook, Patricia
Cornwell, (this list could go on forever). I also read a lot of
writing craft books.
Movies - Romantic Comedies, James Bond, Indiana Jones-type action
flicks, Spoofs, I'm up for most anything.
Music - For years I didn't listen to current music (I must have
been stuck in the 80s), but lately I really like a lot of the top
40 stuff. I also listen to some contemporary Christian music. And I
still like the 80s. No apologies. :-)
Food - Japanese and Pizza are probably the two things I crave the
most. Favorites are Kanpai Sushi, Ichiban, Brixx Pizza and Mellow
Mushroom. I also have a sweet tooth.
The six things I could never do without
(in no particular order)
1. My friends.
2. My dogs.
3. My family.
4. My faith.
5. Books.
6. Music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My current (and future) storylines. I'm always planning my next
book. Careful! You may end up as one of my characters.
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing poker. Or out with friends. Or catching up on my TiVo.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
When I was about eight, I licked the spoon to the chocolate pudding
at an all-you-can-eat restaurant. You're just going to find out
anyway if you ever meet my brothers.
You should message me if
any of this sounds interesting. I'm a fast typer. :-)
