Crisis 1: In an attempt to avoid hunger and homelessness I joined the Texas Army National Guard as a Combat Medic. The timing was great; 3 weeks before the 9/11 terrorist attack, my unit was called up. I had to devise a way to avoid participating in the murderous slaughter in Iraq. After being on the run for two years they just gave up and kicked me out.
Crisis 2: My love life or lack of one. In addition to being on the extreme far left I'm also polyamorous which means I believe in having multiple relationships. Most people claim to put monogamy on the high ground of morality, so I'm not too popular in my social circle. I still have to be true to myself.
Crisis 3: My total alienation from corporate health care. So much so that I'd like to find another occupation. I had decided to hang in there a little longer after I took an emergency medical training course. I'm also thinking of becoming a teacher.
Crisis 4: I'm only one of a few Atheist in Austin.
I'm originally from New Orleans, LA but left in 1982 when I joined the military. Travel is one of my favorite activities. I've visited Korea, Germany, France, and Britain while I was in the army. Just a few years ago I went to Mexico and Cuba.
I am erotic, cool, and good
