Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have a friend who says of me, "You're sweet but you have a
definite edge." I'd say she knows me fairly well. I love people, I
enjoy making friends, I completely dig my family (immediate and
extended) and believe our relationships are our most important
Nearly every day begins with a workout. I love to hike, run, and
engage in high-intensity interval training. (My dog loves these
things, too.) My bicycle, however, remains untouched in the garage.
Riding it is an exercise in drudgery, so I avoid it. I have an
extensive home gym, and did personal training and group exercise
instruction for years, so yes, I do know what I'm doing. Oh, and if
I'm not working out, I'm dancing. Anybody can dance - just shake
what your mama gave you.
I love food, although I don't enjoy cooking. (I can do it, and I'm
not a BAD cook, but am much happier if someone else does it. I'll
happily do the dishes.) I love to read, although usually only do it
on the weekends and in the evening, since sitting for extended
periods of time is not something I enjoy. Some of my favorite
authors are Lois McMaster Bujold, Robert A. Heinlein (pre-stroke),
Dean R. Koontz, Orson Scott Card, and Nora Roberts. (What can I
say. I happen to LIKE bubble gum.)
I do all the yard work at my house and enjoy having a garden. I
wouldn't say I necessarily have a green thumb, but what I plant
generally grows, so I can't complain. I also drive a mean Craftsman

Exercise. Cleaning. Life and people.
Exercise: I wake up at about 4:30 am to get a workout in before I
leave for work. I write my workout for the next day in the evening,
after dinner, or if it isn't too complex, I at least plan it in my
head. As I fall asleep, I'm often running through the workout in my
Cleaning: I organize space in my head. If my closet is bugging me,
I take a mental inventory of what's there, pitch this, keep that,
organize by color, and when I have time, I do the Captain Jean Luc
Picard thing and make it so. (Technically, that was his imperative
to Will Riker, but I digress.) This was, in fact, a recent project,
and I Roy G. Biv'd the crap out of my closet. Pure bliss!
Life and people: Both are wonderful! I love the randomness of life
and humanity. I love the complexity of both, and especially try to
figure out why people are the way they are. To know someone is to
