Hello friends.

Last time on our fire-screensaver-side chat, we talked about moving to Chicago from Milwaukee.

So far it has been a great time. I am enjoying my new job as a Software Engineer in Test and working in the Loop.
The food trucks that come around are pretty great. I wish the restaurants with a permanent location near work were nearly as good.
I am still getting used to walking to work and not using my car, but I am really enjoying it when it isn't a negative windchill.
There are some great folks at work. We even play games at lunch and after work sometimes.

Some times I have friends over to play Rockband or watch a movie in my apartment's theater.

I keep meaning to do more cooking, but there are so many restaurants to try in Chicago.

My go-to choices are often spicy food (Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese, Chili, etc.) Though a good burger, contemporary, or french foods also make it in there. How can you ever choose?

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

2. Games
3. Friends to play those games with.
4. Awesome food (I'm ok if I have to make it from good ingredients though)
5. The internet
6. One or more lovely lady friends.
