I am a little bit, from column A, and a little from col B..
My Self-Summary
Damn you okcupid for limiting my character count and interfering
with my brilliant new three-adjective statement. // i'm not as
quite as young as i look. but i'm fairly
foolish. i live in dire fear of ending
up with my mother's chin. // i work two jobs, which leads me to
believe that i am
industrious// i am almost always
generous of
heart. i strive to see the best in people and i can't help
giving in to my
soft-spot for the people i care most
about regardless of the circumstances. i am
loyal.// i have a little darkness under
the surface.// i enjoy geeky things like
science fiction and
writing and
learning. // i am ready to
meet someone.
What I’m doing with my life
phrenology by
day,
alchemy by
night. no, really, my research is top secret, but i am a mad
scientist. though the mad part and scientist part are only by
coincidence. // in brief, i am: working my first 'real' job
(research, about 35 hours/week) / working an additional hospitality
job (serving, about 10 hours/week) / watching tv and playing lame
video games / trying to keep it all together.// i wouldn't like to
say that i am oriented toward 'self-improvement' per say, but i
have put a lot of time, energy and dedication into becoming the
person who i most want to be. it is a constant and infinite
process.
I’m really good at
seeing the good in people. seeing that people are simply people. //
loving completely. // also, being critical, unfortunately. //
appreciating a highly diverse selection of music, films, people,
interests, foods. // wasting time, then pulling things off last
minute. // sorting and organizing things, although usually i let my
space and personal affects dissolve into a complete disaster before
i attempt any cleaning. // taking responsibility.
The first things people usually notice about me
i would guess that people notice my
ambiguity in a variety of areas;
ethnicity, political preference, nationality, religion, attitude,
age... i can be a little hard to pin down at times.
The six things I could never do without
uno) food, but not just nourishment, food for pleasure. i adore
familiar, new, interesting and diverse foods of all kinds. a lot of
my recreation revolves around the enjoyment of edibles.
dos) coffee. sad but true. tea is also delightful.
tres) a comforter. i can't sleep without covers.
cuatro) tbd
cinco) tbd
seis) tbd
i wanted to put TV (especially TV on DVD) as one of my choices, but
it was just too shameful...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
things i would like to eat // why i think, react and act in the
ways that i do and how i can improve // why other people think and
act in the ways they do // things i generally should/could do //
work. // i spend a lot of my life making lists of thoughts and
things, but i rarely go back to the lists.// (lately) travel. //
the robot-devil's
hands, if you're feeling me, please message.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
my right palm is a bearer of the infamous
simian crease .
You should message me if
you are patient. i am often slow to reply to messages and i am
going on a working vacation overseas for the next few weeks, so i
am likely to be even slower!
