I'm a pretty straightforward person - not into playing games. I feel the coquettish thing is way overdone.

I love surprises, although I have an uncanny knack for unknowingly spoiling them.

I'm trying to find new and different ways to see the city. I've done something new every week, and it's been really exciting.

I love inventing and finding fun and interesting ways to bring people together. So I'm trying out new party ideas - like doing "movies in the park" but in my backyard with a bbq.

Stubbing my toe.
Making people feel comfortable. Laughing.
Finding common ground.
Throwing parties.
Making people's day.
Massages.
Giving meaningful gifts.
Finding levity in awkward moments. (Which is probably why I like Wes Anderson so much.)
Remembering the name of that actor that was in that movie.
Remembering things simply because it's important to you that I do.
Judging character. (At least I like to think so.)
I'm a pretty good dancer too.

I would say my cat like eyes. I get a lot of compliments. And then I'm told I'm very easy to talk to. My ridiculously kind heart.

I love movies, but I tend to like spectacle movies made by directors with a very specific style i.e. Wes Anderson, Tim Burton, Baz Luhrman, Frank Oz.

I love to read too - Christopher Moore is my current favorite (You Suck, Lamb, Fool etc.), but I have read all of his books and am looking for a new author to devour.

As far as music I have extremely eclectic taste. It's all about the mood. I can get down to NIN just as hard as I can get down to Steve Miller Band. Throw in some Sade, Jill Scott, Rusted Root, Santanna, Nirvanna, Outkast - I run the gamut. I very much enjoy Pandora as It allows me to learn about new music all the time. Currently, I'm obsessed with a Portuguese song called Que Zomba. No idea what she's saying but its beautiful...

Update: Just heard a song by Wolfsheim called 'Touch'. Pretty sure the next time I fall in love this will be the theme song...

Where I'd go if I won a million dollars. What the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow would be. What to say to get people to message me. That even though I never really liked musicals or dance movies I would love to be caught in a random synchronized dancing flash mob and know the choreography so I could join in. Is that weird?

Either out with my friends or vegging. Or making plans for the next Friday...
