My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm in a open relationship with HeyYoCaptainJack and looking for new friends and playmates. It's been a while since I've been dating. Some of the following is from a few years ago, in the process of updating.

I am a dreamer. I dream of a world where people are healthy, happy and conscious, where the forests have reclaimed their rightful place on earth and are teeming with a wide variety of plants and creatures.

When I stand and feel deep into myself and the earth I know I am alive. To reach out from that place allows me to meet the trees, to hear the voices of distant souls seeking contact.
My life in the world is often full of people and joy and learning and sharing and I am intensely grateful. But when I get the chance to step back and be with the silence of the wind moving through the leaves or the beauty of the fall colors or the faint glow of the moon in the clouds, that is when I know what is real.

The past few years I have been really focused on my spiritual path and have enjoyed lots of contemplative time alone at home or in nature. A little like the yogi in the cave I am happy to sit by my fire in deep mediation for many hours of the day.

I have great friends, and it's time to get out in the world, meet new folks and have some more fun.

So here I am. Writing about myself, going out dancing, connecting with old friends, connecting with new friends, ... you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Discovering how to integrate high energy experiences with daily life.
Last fall I journeyed in India to a series of temples and drank in the ancient healing powers. I have had regular meditation practices for many years and recently have added a shared process, Orgasmic Meditation, which has ignited a fire and desire in me that reminds me of my teens.
I am pushing that energy into my painting, biking and connecting.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Discovering something that interests me and diving headlong into it. As a result I've had significant periods as a Sufi, raw foodist, plant whisperer, free school advocate, ... I could tell stories about this for hours.

Taking care of things, people, pets. I have a gecko, a cat, a small vegetable and herb garden and an amazing 10 year old daughter. Anything I can do to be gentle on the earth, my self and other folks I will. I parent as much in partnership, harmony and love with my child as I can.

Fermenting foods: kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut, yogurt, honey wine, ... Making herbal tinctures, oils, smoking blends.
Knitting (though I'm so busy with the plants these days that I rarely do that or spin, sew or crochet)

Writing for hours about my thoughts and the guidance I receive from plants, stones and the divine.

Having vivid, lucid dreams and remembering them in great detail. Some of them have ongoing story lines in another world.

Listening to people, resolving conflicts, working things out, growing together. Pulling together groups for a common purpose.

Coming up with strange and unique solutions to problems that present themselves to me. Explaining complex and confusing mathematical concepts to artists.

Allowing waves of healing to move through me as Reiki or sound or sometimes something else that is needed in the moment.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can be a little intimidating on first meeting. Sometimes I just need to watch and feel for a while before I open up.
Little kids and animals like me.
I like to talk, have something to say about just about everything and am quite willing to change my perspective when presented with a good argument.
I like to talk about plants, especially if we're on a walk. Or about spiritual awakening.
I was once told that I don't always have to be the most interesting person in the room. I guess some people are annoyed by that, others seem to enjoy it.

Music: Things that go Boom Boom and keep me up dancing into the wee hours. The rest of the time I'm also pleased by Bajans, the Jazz station, Bob Dylan, Ratatat, Regina Spector, Cyndi Lauper Bjork, Billie Holiday, Cheb i Sabbah, Eartha Kit, Sinead, Madonna

Foods: I stopped eating gluten, beans and most sugars a few years ago 'cause they make me feel like crap. I basically eat a lot of meat (no pork or beef), fruit and veggies. I ferment whatever I can and make most of my meals myself from as fresh, local, organic, small farm, sustainably grown, free ranging as I can get my hands on. You could call my diet Paleo but it's not that strict.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The awakening of divine understanding and healing in myself and those around me. The consciousness of plants, stones, bees and how to listen to it. The interconnectedness of all life. What it's going to be like as we regain more and more of our ability to hear each other. And how to get there.

What I experienced in recent dream or meditative state. What colors go on my painting. The intricacies of polyamory.

If you think you know how to handle someone fierce and fragile in a way that her heart shines and her voice moans and she can laugh with wild abandon safe in the midst of the surreal that this world is.

Or if you're real and funny.
