I am a dreamer. I dream of a world where people are healthy, happy and conscious, where the forests have reclaimed their rightful place on earth and are teeming with a wide variety of plants and creatures.
When I stand and feel deep into myself and the earth I know I am alive. To reach out from that place allows me to meet the trees, to hear the voices of distant souls seeking contact.
My life in the world is often full of people and joy and learning and sharing and I am intensely grateful. But when I get the chance to step back and be with the silence of the wind moving through the leaves or the beauty of the fall colors or the faint glow of the moon in the clouds, that is when I know what is real.
The past few years I have been really focused on my spiritual path and have enjoyed lots of contemplative time alone at home or in nature. A little like the yogi in the cave I am happy to sit by my fire in deep mediation for many hours of the day.
I have great friends, and it's time to get out in the world, meet new folks and have some more fun.
So here I am. Writing about myself, going out dancing, connecting with old friends, connecting with new friends, ... you.
