I like lots of alone time to listen to music, read, sleep, and do other low-key bullshit. I'm politically 'progressive' if that matters to you. I'll give most things a chance. I like stand-up comedy, graphic novels, and I dunno, I like to learn, so feel free to talk ad nauseam about whatever your random interests may be! I'll learn to love what you love, assuming your passion isn't punching kittens in their cute little faces. Well, I guess that's a sufficient self-summary...
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from CSULB, and I'm currently working at the local public library, which is wonderful! I am generally looking for any opportunity to build knowledge, creative skills, or entertain new experiences. I'm currently part of a boozy social club with an interesting group of people involved in local politics. It's both amusing because of all the competing egos it attracts, and more sincerely enjoyable, because I love absorbing dry information about public policy. And who doesn't love local politics over cheap booze in a run down old people's home that looks like the mansion from the Shining?...
Please save me from this weird life I've cultivated for myself, lol. Otherwise I'll be taking personal finance in the fall, and looking for grad school opportunities that my parents don't approve of. Weee!
I’m really good at
Writing, making inappropriate jokes, doodling, being oblivious, not taking myself too seriously, and...playing ping pong? I'm a good listener, but that's not really hard to do, so take that as you will. Oh, and I keep secrets like nobody's business. It helps that gossip bores me to death.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea. Maybe that I have freckles?

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about ethics, and their limits, and the tendency to rationalize and circumvent personal standards, or whether moral consistency is even possible. It's fun trying to construct your own set of ethics.
There's a lot of garbage that passes for thought in my head though. My mind can be kind of scattered :P
On a typical Friday night I am
Socializing, or reading article after article on my facebook news feed mindlessly burning through hours of my life haha. Maybe I'll listen to music, read, or go on a long walk and listen to some various podcast? Probably going to work for a certain part of the day.
You should message me if
If it's partly cloudy, and the moon is rising in the east. I dunno, make your own decisions.
