My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a pretty down-to-earth person, I guess. I like lots of alone time to listen to music, read, sleep, and do other low-key activities (but I'm usually down for whatever). I'm politically 'progressive' if that matters to you. I'll give most things a chance, and I try to engage myself in acquiring skills that draw my attention outward. I like stand-up comedy and graphic novels, and I dunno, I like to learn, so feel free to talk ad nauseam about whatever your random interests may be. Yeah, I guess that's a sufficient self-summary...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just graduated from CSULB in May, and I'm currently working for the Santa Ana Public Library, which is wonderful. I would like to continue my education, but the financial investment involved makes me anxious, and I would first need to figure out how to approach the GRE. If I could I would want to get a Master in Public Policy, but whatever, dreams are for chumps *sobs*

I'd like to learn more about programming and encryption, become less terrible at Spanish, and learn the piano. I'm going to be going back to Santa Ana College for these kinds of things to keep myself busy. I also like concerts, but don't expect me to dance, or pay a ton of money, lol. Board games, or cards and alcohol with friends make me happy :D
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I guess I am okay at writing, making inappropriate jokes, doodling, being oblivious, not taking myself too seriously, and...playing ping pong? Hmm, feels like that list should be longer, lol. I'm a good listener, but that's not really hard to do, so take that as you will.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have no idea. Maybe that I have freckles?

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
comedy stuff, books, music, down time, good people, and many hours of uninterrupted sleep.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about ethics, and their limits, and my rationalizations and their limits lol. It's fun trying to construct your own set of ethics, although it's really easy to be inconsistent.

I try to focus on reading, or learning new things to keep the self-centered, depressing or anxious thoughts at bay. It's easy to get weighed down in my own fictional narratives, and that's always an enormous waste of time :P
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I usually prefer to kick back, either with friends or by myself, possibly with alcohol if I have to see people, but I can do sober interactions too, they're just less fun, haha. Sorry, clearly I've said too much.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hate long drawn-out text message conversations. I look at texting as a means to hanging out, not really a forum for meaningful conversation. I much prefer face-to-face interaction, or none at all.
