Hey! I'm Ash. I'm a writer, photographer, artist, and soon-to-be surgical tech. I love to laugh and play around and have fun. I'm a sci-fi/fantasy geek (except LOTR...heavens above, SO boring!) I only get serious when I have to be! I'm very prone to awkward moments, falling down, and laughing at inappropriate moments at completely unrelated things. Life is never boring around me! I try to make the best out of any situation I'm in. I'm about as ADHD as they come, but that generally works to my advantage. I'm independent, low-maintainance, and occasionally, something of a ball-busting feminist. Keeps things interesting...

Right now, I'm a freelance artist/editor/writer.

I'm in school for surgical technology and loving it so far.

I'm hoping to start kayaking soon! I love the beach, boats, and traveling around the US.

What I'm NOT doing is looking for a married man, or anyone who is separated but not divorced, or anyone who is less than 3 months out of a serious long-term relationship. If you've had your kids taken away, are a convicted felon, drug user, cheater, liar, etc, move on to the next profile. Also, have a job.

Falling down. Dropping things. Spilling drinks. Making fun of hipsters. People-watching. Wasting time. Getting everything done except what I was supposed to. What are we talking about again?

Usually my eyes or smile. I smile and laugh a lot. Also, I rarely ever use curse words. Usually blows people's minds.

Anything sci-fi and/or fantasy. I love Doctor Who, Labyrinth, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Resident Evil, Silent Hill....the list would go on for days. I love good anime. I love fantasy, sci-fi, all that stuff. As long as it doesn't involve 'sexy' vampires/werewolves/frankesteins, etc. MOnsters are supposed to be scary. Not sexy. Scary.

I love the Hunger Games. I HATE anything Twilight related. I love comedies, except for foul, raunchy stuff. I do not like romantic comedies unless Sandra Bullock is starring. Bridesmaids is one of my absolute favorite movies of all time.

I love well-written, well-made independent horror movies, especially foreign/European/Asian horror flicks. I'm not so into American horror.

Music: it all depends. I love rock and metal, ambient music, soundtracks, HATE country, rap, hip-hop, and most pop music. Love Nine Inch Nails, Apocalyptica, David Bowie....

I won't get started on books, because we'd be here all day. I love to read. I read a book a day, at least. I love horror, sci-fi, Christian fiction, and short stories.

Zombie fiction, books, cameras, Netflix, unicorns, and fuzzy wuzzy kittens with venomous talons.

Everything. Stuff. Nothing. My mind is so full of so much stuff I don't think I could pinpoint one particular thing I spend a lot of time thinking about.

Usually, I'm reading, drawing, working on digital artwork, or processing photos. I live a fairly quiet life...no wild parties or adventurous evenings, unless you count the cat-circus that goes on around here constantly.

I think David Bowie is sexy. Especially 80's Bowie.

Why not? I never get replies back, so I'm waiting for someone to show interest in me, instead of the other way around...

I absolutely will not answer you if you abbreviate words in the message, have bad grammar, or make me have to ask a teenager what you're trying to say because you type in text-speak. We're adults. Let's talk like it, okay?
