This is always the hard part trying to "sell| yourself in so many words. You never know quite what to say to catch someones eye...But, here goes, I am a young looking 59 year old woman. I only have one pic on this site but will be more than happy to send some if you want to see what I look like I was born in Scotland, but am of Italian heritage. Lived in Canada since emigrating here when I was 7 years old. I love to travel and have been all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe. I love going to Italy and have been there many times in the last few years. I have a good job, good friends and a great family. I work full time for the |Government, love my job but there are times when retirement looks good. I keep active and work out every morning before going to work. I like golfing, play volleyball and have taken up running. My proudest accomplishment so far was running my first 5k run and not stopping...LOL LOL

I enjoy a good glass of wine, hanging with friends on a Friday night, watching a movie or a hockey game...planning my next adventure.
I am very active in my Church and I find that it gives me strength to get through the tough times.

being a loyal and true friend. I am good at my job and love what I do. I meet all sorts of people and find the diversities in cultures most interesting. I love to cook and can count on quite a few dishes to impress - I love to laugh and have a great sense of humour. Nothing better than a good laugh. I am usually good at first dates, even if there are no sparks - it does not matter - it is nice to talk to someone new and find out about them.

Is my smile. I love to laugh ....I am extremely optimistic and always see the glass as half full....never empty. What's that old saying...when you get lemons, make lemonade...that's me!

I love movies of all kinds but I have to say some of my favorites are Gladiator, Braveheart, Into the Wild. Really enjoyed Avatar = there are so many movies out there it is hard to just pick a few.

I enjoy reading and one of my favorite books was The Shack...a pretty impressive book . I will read just about anything as long as it has a good plot line not really into those harlequin type books but, hey I am sure they serve a purpose.

Music ...love all kinds except rap and I do enjoy going to concerts and plays.

Food...well I love Italian, Indian, Vietnamese and gosh many more ....there is always something new to try and savor.

How lucky I am to have wonderful friends, good family, a great job and to live in a wonderful country like Canada. I feel I am very blessed.

Hanging with friends, going out for a bite to eat and a few drinks after work. Sometimes a shopping spree is exactly what I need....LOL LOL Depends on the type of week I have had at work...
