I am just your average femme fatale - kidding. I have a dry sense of humour and enjoy the simple things in life. For example going for long walks, (providing it is not cold), old movies, or having a cosy night in.

I like to read, in particular thrillers. My favourite authors at the moment are Robert Goddard, Harlan Coben and for a girlie read, the sisters Tilly and Louise Bagshawe. For good measure I throw in a Jackie Collins every now and then. I love reading japanese historical fiction/non fiction books eg Memoirs of a Geisha. Also like biography's.

I am educated at degree level and would consider myself low maintenance, in the sense, it does not take much to make me happy. I enjoy going to new places, going for walks and then settling down in a nice atmospheric pub for a glass of wine and lunch.

Don't be deterred if we don't share the same interests or tastes. I enjoy learning about new experiences and listening to different music, besides I am a firm believer in opposites attract. So don't judge a book by its cover.

I am teaching myself French with various texts and CD's. Just started a 10 week creative writing course. Absolutely enjoying it.

One private thing I would like to admit is I don't really feel comfortable with this dating online concept and do hope I meet someone "normal". I am quite reserved so registering has been so out of character for me.

I would not say it is private, I love taking photographs but hate having mine taken, unless it is from my camera. That way I can discard them at a blink of an eye if I don't like them. I tend to dislike 90% of my photographs.
