My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, my name is Connor.
Iowa born and raised, Chicago lived, DC living (starting in September).

I appreciate complexities and despise hypocrisy.

I am self-motivated and honest. I love dogs and strive to match their unbridled loyalty. I enjoy athletics and staying fit.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a full-time graduate student working on my Master's in journalism.

I'd like to eventually work as a sports analyst/reporter or as an on-air personality.

I also like to write lyrics and produce music in my downtime.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
growing through adversity and writing ambiguously.

Reading materials:
I tend to stick to long-form feature essays or daily news.

I have an eclectic mix, but prefer classic comedies above all. Occasionally romantic movie viewer. Not a huge horror fan.

Sitcoms, the likes of Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, How I Met Your Mother and Friends. I don't get much time to watch shows, but I do also enjoy The Blacklist and shows of that nature.

I like an array of music, but find myself listening mostly to acoustic and alternative artists, like Mat Kearney and Search The City. The occasional hip-hop consumer, but the new school isn't the stuff I typically prefer, unless you're talking Eminem and comparable artists.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Stimulating conversation
2) The potential for justice
3) Sports
4) Faith
5) Companionship (be it friendship, pet, love, etc.)
6) Writing
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
lyrics and if karma exists.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
relaxing at home or with my colleagues after a long week of reporting.

I tend to avoid the bar scene, so I'm usually lounging in my apartment.
