Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Where to start? I guess with the always reliable "My friends
describe me as" introduction.
My friends describe me as intelligent, thoughtful, complex, honest,
loyal, witty, charming and hysterical. Mind you, my friends are
completely biased (or adept liars) and would probably try to
persuade you I'm perfect. I'm not and I accept that, but I'm
working everyday to get closer.
I come from a small family, but I'm incredibly close with my
brother and mom. My brother and I are opposite in nearly every way,
but we have some of the most thought-provoking conversations. My
mom is just a boss, period. My dad and I get along, but he grew up
in a time where a sensitive man was laughable, so we don't connect
on the level of depth I prefer. And my grandparents are senile and
think I'm running for President. They're all characters, and I have
a pretty good story.
I gravitate toward dogs. I had a shih tzu growing up, and we spent
nearly every waking moment that I wasn't in school together. I
learned a lot through having her in my life, and I strive to
achieve that level of loyalty.
I have a wide array of humor. While I tend not to be raunchy, I
find it hilarious in the right settings. I am the most quick-witted
person I know (I don't know a lot of people). I'm self-deprecating,
so I appreciate someone who can laugh at herself, or at least laugh
at me laughing at myself. I find myself funny, but then again, few
I am incredibly active. Whether it's going for a run, playing
basketball or lifting weights, I enjoy physical fitness.
I know who I am and I know what I want... for the most part.
