My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello! I’m a positive, well-dressed guy originally from a small beach city in California who likes cheering for my favorite sports teams, taking spontaneous road trips, and getting lost in a good book. Don’t see any of your interests on this list? Don’t worry. What I do is less important to me than who I’m with.

If I had to choose just a few words to describe myself, I’d pick loyal, organized, and funny. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but I warm up fast with encouragement. Thanks to years of braces, I have a great smile too. Or so I’ve been told.

I’m hoping to meet a sweet, outgoing girl who shares my interests and introduces me to hers. Physically I’m attracted to fit, affectionate women with warm smiles who make an effort to look nice. Beyond that the qualities that matter most to me are loyalty, kindness, and a dry sense of humor.

Does this sound like you? I hope so. I look forward to meeting you very soon!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a middle school Special Education teacher in Helena, Arkansas doing a program called Teach for America. The program places recent college graduates in low-income schools around the nation. Looking to teach for at least two years and then who knows what!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I would like to think I'm good at teaching! I don't know, this is a tough question. I'm intelligent and can certainly carry on a great intellectual conversation. I can also decently shoot a basketball, but I'm certainly no future NBA star. Other than that, I don't think I could categorize much that I'm "really" good at.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile and that I'm shy/quiet at first. You can attribute the first to years of braces and white strips and the second to me simply having an introverted personality when first meeting people. I know it's cliche, but once you get to know me, I don't mind hearing my own voice :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
This section will be under construction as I try to recall my favourite things...

Books: Anything by Steinbeck, America the Book, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid! (the kids I teach love it)

Movies: The Shawshank Redemption. Great film.

Music: Pretty much anything.

Food: Not too picky, but definitely miss Mexican food since I've been down here in the South.

TV is not included on here, but I must say I could probably not live without my complete series of the West Wing :) Also, Modern Family is fantastic.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hmmm, the bare essentials living in Helena, Arkansas for me are: my ipod, my laptop, and my car. I also do like looking nice for work, so I suppose my tie collection (as lame as that sounds) would have to be up there too.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I am going to do after Teach for America, my destructive 5th period class, and lesson planning. Yup, life as a teacher is not easy!
