My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Where shall we begin...? It's impossible to properly present oneself through this profile. A few pictures and paragraphs cannot capture who anyone is (My friend read this over and said as much, hence my preface). That said, I have tried my best to work in the space given. On that note:

I'm a bit of an old soul, a music history nerd and am always immersed in what I am reading. I am quick with a joke or pun, am organized beyond belief and extremely driven. I might be one of calmest people you'll meet, yet always motivated by something. I recently moved into my own place in Park Slope, and my time here has been amazing so far; I suppose the feel of the area has an appeal to the New Englander in me? Knowing random factoids is a specialty of mine. I have been in bands since I was 15, and playing instruments since before then (at one point, I was even "Ringo" in a Beatles tribute band).

My family is awesome. I love to cook and have picked up some awesome recipes over the years. I am a big believer in karma. I love the outdoors (particularly autumn in the northeast) and the fact that we have so many parks here is amazing. And I really am a good storyteller; I know people toot their horns and say try are, but I get told this regularly (it's all about pacing and details).

I'm just a big dork really.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a major television network as a media management supervisor in content distribution. It's hard work and I put in a lot of time there every week. (And most times, life there feels like The Office.)
I am also a musician and songwriter. I have an indie record deal, and am currently three albums in, so that part of my life has evolved from a hobby into a second career. It's really exciting to be doing what one loves!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Managing to compare everything in life to something that happened on Seinfeld (or Curb).
Knowing what time it is with no clocks nearby.
Being generally affable.
British accents.
Finding where to stand on the train platforms for proper exit of said station.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Aldous Huxley. George Orwell. C.G. Jung. Chuck Klosterman. I have read too many rock biographies, yet am always looking for more. Various books on Eastern religions and philosophy. And what might be my favorite- The Sheltering Sky. Up next: now that I've been turned onto Bowles, Spider's House.

Anchorman. Back to the Future. Dazed and Confused. Ghostbusters.

Seinfeld. How I Met Your Mother. Arrested Development. the Office. Cheers.

Beatles, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, King Crimson, Rush, Byrds, Neil Young, Police, Zeppelin, Radiohead, Zombies, Dungen, Tame Impala, Melody's Echo Chamber, Oasis, etc etc, and older jazz (Coltrane!).

I mostly eat healthy, as we're only given one body in this lifetime (ie- regular at farmers markets and Whole Foods), although, you can put pineapple or coconut in basically anything and I'll eat it. (Actually, that's a lie. I may love coconut, but I hate coconut water.) I cook a lot, and love most of what I make. Pizza is still awesome after all these years, but now it's about finding the best! And I have quite the affinity for cereal.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Black coffee.
Fresh fruit.
Autumn weather.
Music.
Notebook for writing.
Laughter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever I am in the midst of writing.
How Popeye cartoons were really just pro spinach propaganda.
Why they don't have a video/ movie version of Shazam; I was out recently trying to figure out what I was watching, and an app of that sort would have come in handy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing a gig or relaxing from the exhausting work week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I play fantasy basketball.

And I am quite the hopeless romantic.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want someone who is prefectly blunt and honest about everything, well-read, has their life together, probably can be a tad verbose at times but a conversationalist for sure, has been described as a "catch", yet can't seem to meet the right girls in person, etc etc.

You already love your life, but would love it more with a partner in crime, are looking for something real, and you'd like to start by perhaps meeting up and discussing the minutiae of life over coffee or a drink and see where this goes!
