> Scifi/fantasy like the Heir to the Empire
(a.k.a., "Thrawn trilogy") by Timothy Zahn and The Name of the

Hole War by Leonard Susskind
> Books on ethics/philosophy like Moral Tribes:
Emotion, Reason, and the Gap Between Us and Them by Joshua
> Memoirs like Magical Thinking by Augusten
> Sci-fi dramas that try and say something interesting
about us as a species like Star Trek, Battlestar
Galactica, and Black Mirror
> Dark, character-driven, plot-heavy epics like
Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and House of
> Documentaries like Cosmos
3:10 to Yuma, A Man From Earth, The Dark
Knight, A Single Man, Pacific Rim,
Cloverfield and many more. Recent favorites include
Frozen and Her.
Things that are edible. I tend to enjoy the context of food more
than the food itself, to be honest.
