BEFORE YOU KEEP READING.... I am currently and happily in a very serious relationship. But instead of completely ridding of my profile and potentially starting from scratch later (hopefully never) I will leave it up. But don't expect a response. I guess basic summary would be music-geek, open-minded Christian, recently employed, and in a new area! Also an Aunt to 4 amazing kids, and striving to help people when I can.

I like to say I'm spontaneous....however I have a hard time going out doing things all alone....so I guess I am up for someone ELSE's spontaneous ideas!

I have big-picture goals, but I also don't want to limit myself. I don't have a specific 5-year plan, but I always try to improve myself and do/be the best I can. I hope to find someone else who is similarly motivated, but also open to living and enjoying life.

Now being in a new city, I know very few people, and when meeting new people I can be shy. But give me time and I can be fun. I really do enjoy meeting new people and finding good company. I'm looking for a guy who's assertive and confident, but still a gentleman. And a little goofy

I am sweet, spazzy, and understanding

I am newly a "young professional" in the city....aka I'm so excited to have my first career-type job!!! Starting in August, I will be teaching music at a wonderful charter school for K-8. Being a first year teacher is going to be stressful, but I want to make sure to take some time to get to know Baltimore. This will be my first time truly living in a city and I want to take advantage of that!

I'm not very good at bragging about myself...I'm a good listener? Good at making a fool of myself? :P

I can figure out people fairly quick, and usually my first intuition ends up being pretty good. I'm apparently a pretty good musician. I'm really good at making a fool of myself without trying!

I am very openminded. I am strong in my beliefs, but I always try to understand someone else's point of view.

I'm not really sure what people notice, but I guess they can tell I smile a lot and that I'm a little quirky. MY default when I'm nervous is to laugh so...

I guess I wil say I am like an onion...in the best of ways! A red onion if you will. I have layers, not like an ogre, more just a little awkward at first, but over a little time I will continue to be quirky, but you'll discover other facets of me, and I think it's worth getting to see!

Favorite Books: I love reading! Bookstores are one of my favorite places. The books that I love off the top of my head, Island Beneath the Sea, Harry Potter (yup!), The Help, Ender's Game, The Giver. I just finished "Age of Civility", which was surprisingly engaging. Now I'm reading this video game dystopia called "Ready Player One"

I like most movie genres, horrorrom-coms (I am a girl), comedy, action. Some favorites are Baby Mama, Love Actually, Wall-E, A Christmas Story , Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Easy A

Music: Classical (Chopin!, Beethoven, Liszt), piano music, dance music, jazz, gospel, oldies (Beatles!, Queen), motown (Stevie Wonder), soul and R&B (the old stuff, BoyzIIMen). It's all about the mood and passion behind the music

What I can do to improve myself? How I can do more for God? How can I help others and not focus on myself so much? What I have to do for the rest of the day (it's usually a lot) What I am going to do just for fun? Life in general...How can I not stress right now?

I may sit down with a good book and read, I may go to a movie or go dancing with friends. My theory is as long as I'm in good company I'll probably have a good time.

I'll say I can be a little spazzy at times, and when I get nervous I tend to ramble, but sometimes I feel like that's my most endearing trait :) It's entertaining at the very least!

I don't know your opinion, but I feel like I'm pretty fun and good to talk to. I'm not very good at making the first move, but I will be open to talking if you do. Warning now, not so great at the small talk at the start, but that can be easily amended.
